AI in Civ game please...  The only thing they know how to make the AI better in Civ games is give computer opponents unfair advantages.  Civ is an awesome game but the AI has always sucked.

It's better in God & Kings and with the right mod... but yeah, still not great at all. I really hope it becomes a big focus for CIV 6

Yeah, that always annoyed me in strategy games and especially Civ which is so deep and complete in other areas. AI doesn't apply clever tactics or plot your doom 200 turns ahead, they simply cheat their way into endless resources and go bonkers. Another sign of this is the fact that the AI in Civ almost always goes for military victory, regardless of standings with other factions, starting position and resources available.

Starcraft, Age of Empires and a lot of others are guilty of the same (remember the Havoc bot in Age of Empires II?!).

Civ AI = "Oh, you're on my border? I'm gonna fucking kill you!"

Physics. It's terrible on consoles.

AI. It's hard to program but the majority of games still being made have just awful AI.

Loading Times. Sony went with a 2x Blu Ray drive in PS3 which was great....for 2007. 9MB/s isn't cutting it when the majority of disks have 50GB, while some that use Single Layer are still 25GB. Go with at least 8x on next-gen (both PS4 and 720)

Updated Blu Ray optics. Support the quad-layer 128GB disks. Technically nothing needs to be done, but use the updated optics to be sure you support it. That's future proofing, it holds 7 hours of 1080p video, or 3.5 hours of 4K video.

Bandwidth. Not internet bandwidth, silly. Internal bandwidth. Current consoles use GDDR3 which for modern graphics is just too slow. Then they use 128-bit bus. Too narrow. Consoles will need either 256-bit or 384-bit buses with GDDR5 VRAM in order to feed the GPU. Anything below that, and the card will be starved of bandwidth.

something that features some weird plumber eating mushrooms and jumping and running all over the place

Would it include all colors or just red and black?

Pretty much, I've had factions with half my score when I'm way into the classical era (and thus use gunpowder units) attacking me for being close to their borders, this happens almost every game!

This is on Prince difficulty so its not easy mode tomfoolery either.
