Forums - Nintendo - EA 'holding fire' on two unannounced Wii U games

Note that I expect these games to be complete and utter garbage but its nice to know that there is still a lot to look foward to.

"We've got a couple of more games in development for Wii U and we'll have a bigger line-up for Wii U than we did on the Wii," he said.

Now just need to hope that they aren't party games...

"It is the first next-generation platform coming out so we're really supporting it." Gotta love that line.

EA release some fantastic games so this is great news for future Wii U owners

Well, you can look at it in a sarcastic way and say that the 2 games are Madden and Fifa, or take that "holding fire" sentence a bit more literal and think those games are Dead Space 3 and Medal of Honor.

Please excuse my bad English.

Bigger launch lineup than they had on Wii? What did they have at launch on the Wii?

Madden NFL 07
Need for Speed: Carbon

End of list. Yeah, if they didn't have more at launch for Wii U than they did at launch for Wii, I'd be somewhat shocked, because EA certainly didn't support the Wii strongly at launch.

Also, we know that Mass Effect 3, Madden, and FIFA are all going to be on the system at or near launch. If Madden and FIFA are the "unannounced" ones (they're not technically officially announced, yet), then EA really don't deserve to even be noticed for this.

Medal of honor, please. It's the only way I'll be buying that game.
