Its really hard to choice one:

The first 5 minutes of bioshock. I mean, after the plaine crashes the your head goes off the watter, i thought that it was still part of the cinematic, but then i realize than i could move, and it was like "ooo, must be the most real water and best graphics ever". Then you go to into the city and the enviroment the "no gods or kings. Only men" it was just incredeble.

Something similar the first time i played Halo. It was like my first big game in my new xbox back in 2002 and the graphics were so awesome.

In COD 4, the sniper mission, Its like the most beautiful mission i have ever played in a FPS.

Indeed one of the greatest moments in gaming history.

All the game nearly perfect, its actually my favorit FPS.

mine too it is without competition.

Lets hope Dishonored will be just as good.

The paranoia in F.E.A.R. Also that gigantic face in Silent Hill 4:The Room, gross.

I second this. Such a strong moment.

I ddn´t even know that we have so many Bioshock fans here. But Why does nobody care about Dishonored then?

The first level of AVP 2 on the PC was pretty creepy as a marine. Your motion detector going of and a Predator was always nearby. Creepy without you actually coming face to face with an enemy.

Anything to do with Dead Space and Dead Space 2. *shivers*

Not an FPS I point this out because I was about to say something about RE4.

I can't believe there is no love for the original Turok in here! Every single time some giant ass dinosaur came running out of the fog at me and I was low on ammo I nearly shat myself. Good times! That game had such a great atmosphere.
