Forums - Sony - Even Treyarch doesn't know who's developing Black Ops on Vita. Apparently.

From my understanding, there was a team that worked solely the Wii port of Black Ops. And that turned out to be a solid port.

I imagine they will do the same thing with Vita.

For the record, we didn't have any screens or video on the Wii version of MW3 until around launch. Might have been the same story with Black Ops.

I believe this is because the PS3 and 360 are the bread and butter of the series and Activision wants those to be the main focus.

I think word of mouth is going to help the Vita port be a success. Assuming its a good port.

People seem to forget that all these studios making COD games are kinda competing with each other.
Still, I'd say Treyarch should know which studio is making a spin off of the game they created.......

I doubt they would do that and not announce that they were the ones doing it. If it's not Neversoft, or another Activision dev, then it's probably some small obsecure "work for hire" developer like Nhillistic or something.

Are there any Sony studios currently not working? I mean I don't think it's out of the realm that Sony might have liscensed the game to port and do it themselves.
