Forums - Nintendo - do i skip pokemon black 1 for pokemon black 2?

It seems like black and white 2 are the "gray" for the black and white series. I usually always just get the "gray" of the series. For example, i got emerald instead of ruby and platninum instead of daimond. Should i do the same for black 2 even though it is a "sequal"?

Yes. I seriously doubt the story won't run that deep. It is a Pokemon Game.

There are some major map differences though:

Black and White

Black and White 2

So I guess they are very much different plot-wise as well.

I enjoyed 40 hours of Pokemon Black, and I don't think I ever payed attention to the storyline. As far as I was concerned, I was supposed to get to the Elite Four and become the pokemon master. I thought that was the story

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

There may be Map difference and City differences but I doubt not a lot of Story difference.

Really? Several years have passed and about 40% of the world map got covered in ice.

I expect more than a few story changes...

Have you ever played a Pokemon Game, THE1? They aren't known for their stories. They are just Fun.

This isn't about the importance of the story. Stop playing tricks.

What tricks? I have no tricks!

Anywho, he won't be lost at all. That's the only important part.

This thread got me wanting to start a new file on my Pokemon White game. Then I remembered you can only have one save file, and I saw that I had 122 hours into my save file. I'm not about to delete that...

And now I've come to the realization/conclusion that if Black/White 2 doesn't have multiple save files, I'm simply not going to buy it. I'm so sick and tired of single save files.
