Forums - Sony - I'm annoyed with Sony

you can create a new jp account buy all the new stuff there, dl dlc there and just continue playing on your uk acc. same with a spain acc.

i am doing the same,i have a uk account a german account and a us account from which i regularly buy stuff and use one of the accounts for gaming.

Did you call up Sony to see if there is anything that can be done? Maybe they can do something from their end.

Yes I did. They insisted they don't want my money.

That sucks then.

I guess I would suggest stocking up on some PSN cards before you move. Maybe try adding $5-$10/week or two so make sure you have enough.

This is just going to continue to suck though because if you ever get another Sony device you will be forever stuck with the UK account unless you don't mind losing your trophies.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

You could create a JP account...?

I know it's not much but you can buy from the JP store...?

This would be extremely annoying for two reasons:

1.- I lose ALL my games, trophies and friends in my UK account.

2.- The Vita only allows one account per console (FU Sony) and it's already tied to my UK account, and I'm not resetting the console every time I want to switch accounts.

for your ps3 account, you can buy ps3 games on your jp account and play them freely on your uk account.

your vita on the other hand...I can't help x_x

So I can share downloaded games between accounts? And earn the trophies for both?

Huh. Ok, I'm 2% less annoyed, but I don't still understand Japanese (especially written) so it won't be so useful, I'll still buy the UK codes online. Thanks for that anyway.

Yes, the Vita only supporting 1 account is bollocks.

I thought it was one account per Vita memory card? Look it up to be sure but I thought it worked like that. Just know switching out memory cards remove your icon placements so either get use to having them wherever or be prepared to play RE4 inventory minigame everytime you switch.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Thanks, Ajescent commented on that.

It still sucks because, in a very stupid move by Sony, PS Vita only supports one account and it is already tied to my Uk account.

Cant you just make a Japanese account buy stuff, enter online codes, then play under your UK account to collect trophies?

Accounts on the same console can access all games, with very few exceptions, GT5 DLC being the only one i can think of

I talked with Sony on the phone and they told me the Vita needs ti be reset. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if the guy has no idea of what he's talking about. I'll look into it.

Again, the Vita only supports one account per device and it's tied to my UK account already.

Sooooo, I'm just gonna have to get UK PSN card codes online.

Supposedly there are some credit cards that transcends regions on psn, I know my friend has a british mastercard that works on US accounts but I can't offer much else.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

You can switch accounts on the Vita, but I believe you lose any settings/wallpapers/bubble arrangements you made on the other account, nothing important like saves though.
