Also, here is some extra information about what has changed and what hasn't changed on the 3DS XL.

- Nintendo has made no material changes to the 3DS XL's displays
- Nintendo hasn't adjusted the 3DS XL to accommodate the 90% display increase
- "the speaker function of the XL is the same quality level as the 3DS'"
- Nintendo has adjusted the D-Pad, shoulder and face buttons
- they are now "slightly bigger than the 3DS buttons"

So how did they make it look so good?! Nintendo Magic?!

Everything is so much better on the 3DS XL. The 3D is soo good.....display is not blurry or something, shapness is amazing!!! And it feels good,...much more confortable in you hand. Also the Sounds on the speakers are higher at max vol. Stylus is exactly the same like on the DSi XL. The brightness level is good, everything is totally amazing.

Iwata responded that users would be confused if there were too many choices. There's also the concern about mass production efficiency. So, there are no plans in the near future for new models. The 3DS XL was the result of there being great need for a large screen.
