Forums - Gaming - Nintendo: Wii U could become "preferred" Call of Duty platform!

@ Juma 100% correct, Hd gamers are the only ones that believe Nintendo has switched to the core which is pretty evident( NSMB U, Wiifit U, Lego city undercover, Nintendoland) not happening. How is that a smart decision, give up the strategy that made you number 1 lol. Nintendo is looking to repeat the Wii but make it better with the support of the big boys Nintendo can't lose and they know it. I mean how is Sony going to top Mario, Wii series, Cod, Assinsin Creed etc... when they couldn't even top Mario and Wii series by themselves.

The casual market at this point is exhausted. After the Kinect the gimmicks will be given a rest for some time.

Well, only if they'd let me play using the Wiimote-nunchuk combo. Infinitely superior to dual analog for shooters.

Until your arm falls off from having to constantly aim the Wiimote at the screen and move it all around, that is.

Sit comfortable in the chair. Rest your arm on the (hmm, have to look up the word in english) armrest (?? http://dict.leo.org/ende?lp=ende&lang=de&searchLoc=0&cmpType=relaxed&sectHdr=on&spellToler=&search=armlehne) and if you have the right distance to the sensor bar you move the wiimote only a little to move the cursor on the screen. Very comfortable.

^Stage this will be the last time I respond to you honestly. Your definitely a waste of time. But when you actually show proof of the "casual market being exhausted then you can actually be takin seriously.

P.s. Just something for you to think about if it has been exhausted why does Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo continue to show interest in it. Microsoft showed off Nike +, Sony showed off wonderbook(not exactly hardcore, and Nintendo I don't need an example for them. Also why does Just Dance continue to sell more than like 90% hardcore games lol.

Isn't ideal for every set up. For me, my TV wall mounted (partially due to my poor placement), I'm essentially required to stand in order to play any Wii title.

Try the sensor bar below your TV. It doesn't even need to be near the TV, if you accept that the Wiimote points not on the TV-screen for aiming (as you never relly look on the Wiimte but instead on the TV that works).

I wish I could quote you both but ill address both post above here, @ Stage that's purely your opinion according to people that have used it (which you haven't) the controller is comfortable so im going to leave it at that. @ ryuz 1) they were not equally powerful and again show me some proof the WiiU will be significantly weaker(which you can't) 2) which only proves fan bases do migrate which is what I was saying and WiiU will be HD so what's stopping a few from migrating 3) Those engines could very well run on the WiiU for all you so again fail 4) something you can't prove and whats the difference between home consoles facing competition from PC

So we can't be sure of anything and yet have to prove everything... sorry but we're getting nowhere and I still have to play some Fire Emblem. It was a fun debate see you :)

Thank you for confirming that the majority of Wii owners are complete retards.

We talk about aiming with the Wiimote and you show images of games using motion sensor. You failed.

If it were that good CoD sales wouldn't be falling like that on Wii

@ Mnementh Do you play MW3 on the Wii? If so is it possible to recover your account on another Wii, my Wii is now my sisters( I lost a bet lol) now im getting a new one.

So, he says: "The Wii U could become the preferred way to play those games for some of the core gamers."

"... preferred way to play those games for some of the core gamers."

"... some of the core gamers."

SOME

And suddenly, he means for the entery installbase. Bravo.
