US retail-

100k FW
280k LT

EU retail (if it comes to retail)-

40k FW
130k LT

Total- 550k WW

Probably over, but we'll see.

It is possible if they give it away for 5 $

Yep. That's if Sony advertise it heavily and it really does well.

If not:

America: 35k FW, 100k LT

EU- 10k FW, 30k LT

Boost for Vita- 1/2k, 1 week only.

People are bigging this up too much. It's a niche title that won't sell, unless Sony show it off,

Not quit sure why you think that most people are "bigging" this up.

I don't think anybody has put this title up to the millions yet. In fact, most predictions are right in line with yours.

Perhaps I was unclear. By 'bigging up', I meant in both quality (though this is only something which I can decide when I play it), and also its selling power to push HW. You'd be surprised, it was just a month or two ago where people were predicting this to be the Vita's first 'killer-app'.

It is a killer app in terms of a game that is so great, everyone should play it.

Will it push a ton of hardware? Probably not. I bought my Vita for Gravity Rush though. It sold the system for me.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

I'm afraid that you are sadly in the very small minority.

It's a shame, though. Because the gam really is good enough from what I've seen and heard (wil judge when I get round to playing it soon) to be a system seller, but it would seem as though Sony aren't willing to spend the money to make it so.

It'll likely just go down as yet another niche Sony game which deserves more love and sales than it gets.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I planned to buy this game for a while. Especially after trying out the excellent demo and I think response to demo must be largely positive. At launch my only conflict was whether I should buy Gravity Rush or the MGS HD Collection which released on same day.

IGN Review for Gravity Rush: 7.5/10
IGN Review for MGS HD Collection: 9/10

I have only played Metal Gear Solid - Twin Snakes on Gamecube, so having the 2nd and 3rd game remastered and on Vita is a big plus for me to finally play those.

From the same reviewer Greg Miller whose reviews I tend to trust. His only complaint with Gravity Rush was the game gets too difficult in late game and story doesn't wrap up super nice either. Rest of game is a joy. He had no complains on MGS.

So I just decided to buy both
1.5 GB for Gravity Rush
3.5 GB for MGS HD Collection

Downloading now

I see it just breaking 100k FW in US, but bombing in EU

EU: 23,888

NA: 36,564

That's a total of 60,452.

As for hardware it did:

EU: 22,959 (previous 22,184)

NA: 19,291 (previous 16,564)

So we can say it moved ~4,000 Vitas.

Attach rate for 1,340,000 vitas in NA and EU combined is: 4.4%. Damn that's low.

I'm a bit disappointed of these sales, i really thought more people would go and get this game since it's been a time that ppl had the possibility to buy something for their vitas.

I don't say GR is a fail. Let's see if it will have legs (let's say 125k at the end of the year). I don't think the game will fail financial-wise in the long term. But it really should have sold more. What a bummer we won't be provided with digital numbers.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

I got mine digital, so did my wife and two of my friends. I think a lot of sales will be digital, sucks we are counted yet.

With the rest of the world and digital sales it's probably close to 100,000. And I'm sure it'll have great legs!

I've made a poll to see how much of the Gravity Rush sales went digital, please take part here:
