This is what Jack Tretton told me last week. I always thought XBLA had more games.

LOOOOOOOOL hahaha

Do you know to read ? XBLA # XBL.

XBLA are only arcade games and they dont include indies or on Demand. You really want to know how many Indies and on Demand are on Xbox Live ? no because it more than double from PSN and would blow your mind how so much quality and quantity are possible ONLY on Live.

indie games look like ps minis. I dont care for those tho, look like cheap low budget smartphone games.

Anyways, there should be a comparison of how many real PSN games there are, without Minis or PS3 gaemzzz.

I know I don't have to pay a subscription to get full titles. However, I don't like playing by myself.. I play mostly fighters, and if the AI in the game gives you any trouble, you're garbage. End of story. So, I need that extra competition from people.

Also, again... of the 500... how many are fighters? I don't even touch the AI modes in MvC2, for example.. I'll stick to training mode, and online.. Every other mode in that game is useless.I want competition, and, not just in any game. The fighter itself must be good, or have some sort of charm about it, (because we all know mvc2 throws balance out the window).

But, if I were to get a 360 game, I would need to know what there was specifically about the service that makes it better... Just saying it's better does nothing for me, because when I play online, it's smooth.

I'm not much of an online player because I hate competition lol. I mostly play alone or only with close friends.
With every 360 you can create 6 accounts that comes with one free months of Xbox Live Gold. So if you don't care much about gamerscores you can play half a year for free.

I think there aren't much exclusive fighting games out there. Simply because they don't sell as well. The best recent fighting game however on digital platforms should be Skullgirls.

On XBLA:

Upcoming:
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus

Released:
Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown
Skullgirls
King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match
King of Fighters 2002 Ultimate Match
Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition
Deadliest Warrior The Game
Deadliest Warrior Legends
Soul Calibur
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
NeoGeo Battle Coliseum

I thought Xbox Live had more games too...  To know that there's barely over 500, is kinda a shock..  hard to believe that number is so low.

I hope you're just making fun of Turkish...

I was totally serious...  But, you know what?  I blame the 2GB limit on XBL titles..  No such thing exists on PSN, and I wish XBL didn't do it, because multiplatform releases, like virtua fighter 5, take hits.

you do realize there are more games on xbl than psn right....??

you are confusing xbl and xbla.... xbla is a "subcategory" of the game library available on xbl

2 GB is really big enough...Didn't they started this gen with 350 MB limit? An XBLA title that is bigger than 5 GB (as an example) would be insane).

Oh...  right.. Duh.  Now, I'm really confused, because I don't know what's the difference between live and arcade....

XBox Live = PlayStation Network

XBox Live Arcade is just a denomination of game only avaible for dl like you have flower, the unfinish swan on playstation.... stuff like baird, all the oldies like old street fighters, sonic are released under xbla.... for between 5 and 20 bucks....

but you also have xbox live on demand games.... pretty much digital version of disc games you can buy in store too...

and finally you xbox live indie which pure indie games that joes like you and me can do (some a lot more competent than us) with XNA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_XNA and if good enough are released for usually 1 dollar to up to 3 dollars i believe

If Shenmue 1&2 make it to XBLA I think that both will be over 2GB but they will probably end up being on games on demand like RE4 and RE Code Name Veronica.  So I'm guessing that anything that is over 2GB will end up on games on demand.
