enough to put themselves above wiiU but not enough to make a ps2-ps3 gap.
Which console you think will be the "most" powerful | |||
| Wii U | 39 | 11.30% | |
| PS4 | 171 | 49.57% | |
| Xbox 720 | 134 | 38.84% | |
| Total: | 344 | ||
Sony will want to be the "best" so they won't care if they lose money on the PS4. i mean they need to look cool first and worry about survival later
WiiU will be the weakest

I expect it to be Orbis, Durango, Wii U.
Sony started off this generation badly but that was six years ago. With all three companies we have to look mostly at the present. The PS3 within recent years has been doing great for hardcore gamers. Sony tried enticing casuals with the Move yet by no means is it succeeding. The PS Vita just launched and although its sales are horrible, it is showing potential. With all of this in mind it is easy to predict the Orbis will be a very powerful device geared towards hardcore gamers first.
Microsoft has always been selling the 360 very well but recently it has started a shift. With Kinect and now Smartglass Microsoft is discovering there is a lot of money to be made off casuals. Kinect waz/is a huge success and Microsoft would be silly to not try and milk it more. Of course they will still support their roots with hardcore gamers but they will also support the Kinect crowd. I'd expect a medium powefed console centered around Kinect.
Sadly this is also the order of how much they will cost. I'd predict PS4=$450, Durango=$400, and Wii U=$300.

Jack said "It's about being the best", that doesn't necessarily mean power, he probably said that in terms of sales
Nintendo and PC gamer

I still think the Next Xbox will be the most powerful. The Xbox was 2x more powerful than the PS1, and the 360 is about 95% of the PS3 eventhough it was released a year earlier. Plus, with Microsoft being the best shape of the three.
Plus, as Microsoft makes money on it's Xlive service, it can pump more power into the hardware, as it will make it back later. I think the next Kinect 2.0 will be a processor hog, so having a multi core processors, and having a virtual Xbox 360 (using a few cores) to run it seems necessary.
I think Kinect 2.0 will be the biggest change for the next generation.
I think Sony will go for more games and lower starter price.
Next Xbox > PS4 > WiiU
But who knows how significant the difference will be. It’s like the difference between 720P and 1080P are more than 100% but it isn’t all that noticeable – as the difference between 480i and 720p is very obvious. You need to be at least twice as powerful for a noticeable difference to be observed.
