Wait..... I missed the Sony conference. They have heard two billion complaints about games over the past 7 months and they didn't talk about vita games at E3?

Not at the conference but they did have a video montage.

Why the hell didn't they show that video at their conference!?

The titles in the montage aren't that brilliant, but it still makes it seem like the PS Vita has a fair amount of games. I didn't know there was Jet Set Radio, I'll definitely be getting that.

That for me is the smartest thing they can do...showing their hands early will play into everyone else

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

"No, no... a major price cut will come by mid august... but keep buying the Vita until there, please!"

Not gonna happen, until it happens. I don't know what it needs in the west market. But it needs Monster Hunter! The game is still in Media Create for the PSP! It's one and a half year old game. Evergreen! This is possible only if...

1 - You're a nintendo game
2 - You're monster hunter

Since Sony can't have number 1, number 2 is the obvious choice!

Number 2 probably won't have a meaningful effect.  There's a much cheaper alternative to get MH and that is the 3DS.  Even if Vita had it along with the 3DS, I doubt it would show a significant boost for Vita's hardware sales in Japan.

Here's to hoping CoD works in the west though.

It would have a meaningful effect, as it would be Vita's greatest game by far - until the next MH. It's symbolic too - that's important in vita's current state - it lacks confidence.

not considering it until a price cut

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I still say a price cut will happen before this year ends.

I expect one in Japan, but I don't think it will help much unless Sony also announces a flurry of awesome software like Nintendo did when they went into panic mode and slashed the price of the 3DS.

Agreed. But they probably won't.
