Forums - Nintendo - Fire Emblem: Awakening is coming!

I know there's quite a lot of folks out there that's dying to hear this:

Rejoice Fire Emblem fans, for it is coming!

Apparently Fire Emblem: Awakening is comging to the US!

Anyone psyched over this news?!

Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime just confimed with Kotaku that Fire Emblem: Awakening for the 3DS, already out in Japan, will be getting a US release. Good times.

Great news! Here's hope for a fast European release as well

On a related note it really bugs me how secretive Nintendo is when it comes to release dates. Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion 2 are "Holiday" releases. Great! That's anywhere from late October to mid December I guess. Any ideas when we'll see each game? Here's my guess:

August: New Super Mario Bros.
September: Brain Training 3DS
October: Fire Emblem
November: Animal Crossing, Paper Mario
December: Luigi's Mansion 2

No definition found.

Did he say it was coming holiday season? Could release in February like Shadow Dragon.

And secondly, Shadow Dragon came out in December 2008 for Europe

Whoops. I thought they were talking about the North American release date. Shadow Dragon reached the US in February 2009.

This is good news indeed.

Wouldn't it be nice if the day came when we only wondered if really oddball stuff like Captain Rainbow was going to get localized?

To be fair, Fire Emblem was pretty much a sure deal. Skipping FE12 was the fluke, which i've long attributed to 3DS timing.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Good news but when is still up in the air. If it wasn't shown or at least announced at E3 then it might be outside of Nintendo's current fiscal year. It seemed to me they were very deliberate about not discussing or showing anything that is not near term.

What about Rune factory 4 ? :(

It seems as if Nintendo only showed games released this year on e3 - so that might mean Fire MEblem is coming next year...
