Woh! The PS3 and 360 ones did not have dismemberment?! :O

 >_>

Ninja Gaiden II on 360 had dismemberment Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for PS3 didn't. NG3 didn't have it in both versions.

Well then! It shouldn't be called a Ninja Gaiden game!

Around the Network

It's like people are not familiar with tecmo and the NG series.
Anyway it will need to change the story and level design. But this can make it a solid 7-6.5/10 wich is decent in my book.

I´m really dissapointed, its a slap in the face for ps3 and 360 owners. Wii U gets all the dlc while we had to pay 18 bucks for it and with new weapons and ninpos along with new features. Also Hayashi said before Ng3 released they won´t add dismemberment yet Wii U gets it.

This is really some shitty move from them.

Very much agreed. Perhaps we will see a big title update on ps3/360 for NG3, either that or a paid DLC... or ps3/360 just continue to be shafted for NG3.

"Asked by Gamexplain whether or not Rayman Legends was exclusive to Wii U, engine architect David [last name not provided] said: “Well, at E3 we just came to show the Wii U stuff, but we are not saying that it’s completely exclusive to it.” When a trailer for Rayman Legends leaked back in April, it mentioned “Wii U exclusive content,” leading many to believe it would debut on multiple consoles."

Now look a Rayman Origins. Ubisoft released it on every platform even though the game was only intended for Xbox360, PS3 and Wii.

At best it will be a time exclusive, but I doubt even that.

"Xavier Poix: So just to introduce myself, I’m Xavier Poix, I’m the managing director of the French studios. We have three main studios in France. The biggest one is in Paris, where we do the Just Dance games, we do the Rabbids games, and we just finished Ghost Recon recently. We have another studio in Montpelier dedicated to action-adventure games. In the past, that’s Beyond Good and Evil, King Kong, Rayman, the Rabbids as well. They’re developing Rayman Legends, which will be shown at E3 this year. And another title called Zombie U, dedicated for Wii U, I’ll speak again about that. And the last studio is in Annecy, where we are developing the multiplayer for Assassin’s Creed, four years now. Each studio has its own specialty, but this year, what brings us to E3 is the Wii U. We have developed for two years now, working on a few titles. Game one is Zombie U that we’ll announce tomorrow I think, at our conference. That’ll be shown at the booth obviously. It’s dedicated for the Wii U, dedicated for the new game pad of course. And on the mature level, dedicated for adult gamers. We then have Rayman Legends, which is a Wii U exclusive title on the Rayman brand. Just Dance won’t be specific to the Wii U, but we have specific features for the Wii U, later on we’ll explain exactly what we will have. And the Rabbids, which is an exclusive game also, Rabbids is a party game, this is a party game for the Wii U. We also have other titles, coming from other studios. We have eight titles for the Wii U."

Today at the Electronic Entertainment Expo
(E3), Ubisoft® revealed Rayman Legends®, a brand new platforming adventure with
innovative social functionality. Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, Rayman
Legends will be available on Nintendo’s Wii U™ system.

“The combinations of new controls and original game styles that the Nintendo Wii
U makes possible really inspired the creative ambition of the team working on
Rayman Legends,” said Michel Ancel, creative director at Ubisoft. ”Rayman
Legends expands upon what everyone loves about Rayman’s world, and adds new ways
of playing together that will make it the most collaborative and fun game in the
franchise.”

Rayman Legends is the follow-up to last year’s highly-acclaimed Rayman Origins®.

Legends uses the innovative Wii U Gamepad to explore fresh multiplayer gameplay
experiences and expand beyond the traditional platform games. Players use the
Wii U GamePad to discover new ways to navigate through the game with touch–based
gameplay to take out enemies or clear paths and gyroscope technology to
manipulate and rotate platforms. The GamePad also allows you to continue the
adventure of Rayman and his friends on the controller screen even while the
television is off.

Rayman, Globox and the Teensies are back to embark on a new fantasy adventure

through a series of legendary worlds with new environments, characters and
enemies. Rayman Legends features a variety of uniquely-themed levels including
several musical maps intricately set to creative soundtracks and a spooky
medieval theme. Players can also connect online with friends through a variety
of challenges to test their skill and speed, and see where they rank on the
worldwide leaderboards.

Rayman Legends retains the fantasy appeal of its predecessor while adding a

multitude of clever and entertaining gaming modes, new characters, new
environments and a new soundtrack. The award-winning team of artists, designers
and composers behind the UbiArt framework has also returned with an advanced
engine to include multi-dimensional gameplay elements, an improved lighting
system and updated game rendering that elevate Rayman Legends to the next level.

For now, what we know is that is exclusive. Fact.

Okay I like many didn't follow the Nintendo presentation and were going by that first leaked trailer.

Still don't think it will be exclusive though.

I actually can see, not because Ubisoft but Nintendo's $$$. Last year Iwata said they were closer to thrid partys. For example P-100 and Ninja Gaiden 3 being published by Nintendo.

And let's not forget MHtriG and MH4. Although, I don't think a exclusive Rayman is more expensive that MH.

Maybe after release they announce other versions for Ps360 or a vague "next-gen consoles".

Oh my fucking shit if there is a full fledged Monster Hunter designed for Wii U, I'd fucking shit my pants so hard. It'd totally fix that shit ass inventory system!

I'm pretty sure NIntendo shelled out $$$ for it, they are even publishing the game, don't forget their partnership with Team Ninja on Metroid: Other M, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a pretty good relationship ATM.
