-They said to look at passed titles for how long they are shooting for the game to be.

-They really want to open the environments for you to explore.
-You can choose to go off the beating path and have narrative moments telling you about who Joel and Ellie really are.

I liked the inventory system , the rest is meh to me.

Really guys, I am a "HATER" so this game needs to be drastically different from uncharted to impress, and as of right now , it doesn't seem that way, sure some infos are nice, but i've yet to see any gameplay of these things.

Well you already have a skewed view on the matter, so you may not see much of a difference. To many others, however, the differences are crystal clear. Combat, inventory, health, weaponry, movement, and a whole host of other things are nothing like Uncharted. 

I'll give you this though, it's evdient that the title comes from the same devs, but The Last Of Us doesn't have many similarities to Uncharted outside of the engine.

Its not just Naughty Dog, I felt the same way with that Tomb Raider demo and also that Resident Evil one, lots and lots of games are going this route, i am no fan of it at the slightest, and I am not the only one to feel that way.

This is nothing like Uncharted. Uncharted is pretty much platforming & shooting. TLoU doesn't appear to have platforming & shooting will be a a rarity. You can play through entire levels without killing anyone.

why do you bother posting these shallow one-liners when you know A.) you haven't done any research and don't know what you're talking about and B.) you know you'll ignore any replies that prove you wrong.

I really dig the inventory system.

Its gonna add to the suspense so much when youve got a group of clickers running around and you need to select a different weapon or item out of your bag.

I just hope that theres a decent level of exploration, as well as combat.

There shouldn't be a HUD in the normal/standard mode. When a player sees hes out of ammo, he wouldn't want to pull the triger and let the enemies know hes out. Without HUD, player would have to keep track of his bullets and can sometimes get carried away and accidentally reveal his lack of ammo to the thugs - this gives the game a very real survival feel



I think the hud should tell how many bullets you have. In real life, you can check how many bullets you have. No reason for the game to be harder than real life.

You should be able to check how many bullets you have, but not be able see them on your screen anytime during the whole game. Also, you can check the bullets in clips for handguns, revolvers and sniper rifles, but how on earth do you check that in machine gun magazines and shotguns  (IRL)?

first handgun dont have clips, they have magazines. second most machine guns are also magazine fed, but those that arent are usually fed by a linked belt, so you can easily see that. for shotguns you can just open up the chamber to see if you have any shells in it.



I missed every bit of E3 except the last thirty minutes of the M$ presentation and the last thirty minutes of Nintendo's conference. I assume TLoU was too awesome to be real. True?



Of course it looked scripted I mean most games shown in E3 does can you imagine someone on stage (in front of hunders and then millions online ) dieing and then having to restart the game again.
