And I don't think Mr. Chainchomp here is going to be forgotten, but yeah, the partner system is going to change. It's not that bad... how many times can you make a partner explode anyway? It would be very repetive, most likely.

The sticker system is going to remove the Flower Points entirely and most likely also the Badge Points which in turn reduces the RPG elements quite a bit. At least the "1" on the bottom screen suggests that there could be several pages of stickers at your disposal later on in the game, but I fear that this game will have severe balancing issues just like Super Paper Mario.

Or maybe the battle systems works more like Baten Kaitos, so you basically arrange a deck of stickers that replenishes once it's empty. This would add a welcome tactical note and could actually work well. Still though, why not expand the sticker system to Mario and a partner?

I think the partners will be stickers too, you use them in certain ocasions outside battles (probably story driven or secrets) and in battles at will - one use and you'll have to replenish it, in different ways maybe like you described.

So, to me there'll be common stickers, probably everywhere for you to collect, like the trailer shows and special stickers, like that big fan, that frog suit, or like one use partners (like a chain chomp to help you in battle)

Flower power can be substituted by a bigger sticker sheet. And badge power, well, there can be stickers for badges too, it's possible, the system would work exactly the same.

Also, look behind the sticker sheet, there's four tabs there.

Assuming one is status and one is itens, there's two more:

maybe badges, map, partners... it's still up.

Can't find the screen for Super Paper Mario, but it contains Stats, Pixls and Items only

This is the special sticker I'm talking about.

Rol, maybe I'm overly crazy about this, but in the tabs there are two letters that reach lower than the rest, meaning they can be either a J or a g. And if it's g, it's in the perfect position for "Badges"

Edit: Damn, actually it varies

Here we get two letters...

]

But here, there's two visible words

Good luck deciphering them, I tried!

So in the end, I know nothing, can be everything really.

I am really excited for this franchising which in my opinion does work better on a handheld system...

I agree.

Paper Mario seems to be like a fun pick-up-and-play type of game.

Mmm, it might work better on handhelds, but only if IS finds itself an editor. I really like the games, but they're unbelievably wordy...

If it is still an RPG with at least the depth of Jump, Hammer and FP I will buy.
Otherwise it's effectively a spinoff with the same characters and I will not.

Your move, Nintendo.

New trailer! Wow... just wow. The sticker idea looks better each time

Seriously, not kidding, GOTY?

Okay, so you have a limited amount of stickers you can use in battle and you can use them all at once, like Mario used three at once...awesome.

I really have no retorts for how much I'm anticipating this game. But, is it me or does Paper Mario look more paper-y than the previous games? If so, then I like a lot :D

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward = best game ever made.
