Who had the best pressconference?

Microsoft 122 17.21%

Sony 377 53.17%

Nintendo 210 29.62%

Total:709

Ubisoft. Sony out of the big three though, and only because of Beyond.

Around the Network

Nintendo for sure.
Even tought WiiU presentation disapponted, they have 2 NSMB games and a new console and WiiFit so sales wise they're gonna rock this Holiday season.
-Gaming wise they still have other than the 2 NSMB a new Pikmin, an interesting exclusive (ZombiU), Rayman exclusive, on 3DS they have Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion and Kingdom Hearts. It's not excellent but not bad either.
-Sony is second, they had a new Battle Royal, God Of War, Beyond and Last of Us but they had nothing for PsVita.

Objectively, Nintendo's conference was absolutely better than Sony and Microsoft's and it's either fanboyism or at least heavy subjectivity that would cause anybody to disagree.

However, as stated before, they were expected to bring the most, so theirs as also the biggest disappointment (unless you were really expecting Sony and Microsoft to reveal their next gen consoles).

Wow are you serious? If we say Sonys pressconference being better than Nintendos its fanboyism and subjectivity but when its the other way round its not? Pathetic. Your opinion is no more objective than my opinion. Don't accuse others of fanboyism just because people didn't like your favourite company's conference. And looking at the poll, Sony won E3 with more then half of the votes.

Nintendo's conference started really good with Pikmin 3, then nothing really amazing happend after that. Playing Batman using the tablet screen seems really gimmicky, not to mention I finished that game last november.

Thanks, but my favourite gaming company isn't one of the big three. Additionally, I play PC first, and 360 second.

This site is known to be full of Sony fanboys anyways. Back in 2008, it was heavily populated by Nintendo fans and the few Sony fans complained, so Brent and the rest of the staff made a major push to bring in some Sony fans. It's been heavily weighted to Sony ever since, with Nintendo usually in second and Microsoft limping along behind.

Just because you don't like the facts doesn't make them any less true. I wanted to see something much better from all three, but Sony and Microsoft left  with absolutely nothing special and very little actually presented. Nintendo presented more new stuff (though it was almost all stuff that everybody either knew about already or anticipated), and had a lot more content overall. Objectively, that is better.

What are the facts? Nintendos conference was best? Thats not a fact but your opinion. Your opinions are not facts, they're no more objective than mine opinion. Nintendos conference sucked, thats my opinion.

Imo Sony had more content then Nintendo, sure we knew about them games. The only games I can remember from Nintendos conference were ZombiU, Just Dance 4 and Pikmin 3.

You can't have an "opinion" about a measurable quantity. Either it was or it wasn't, period. And there was more in Nintendo's.

I believe Sony had more content. Be my guest and post the amount of games from Sony's and Nintendos pressconferences.

I see an opening!

Sony:

1. Beyond

2. Farcry 3

3. WONDERBOOK (Yay!)

4. The Last of US

5. Assassins Creed 3

6. Assassins Creed 3 Liberation

7. All-Stars whatever

8. All-Stars whatever Vita

9. God of War

Nintendo:

1. Pikmin 3

2. NSMBU

3. NSMB 2

4. Luigis Mansion 2

5. SiNG

6. Wii Fit U

7. Just Dance 4

8. Rayman Legends

9. ZombiU

10. Lego City Undercover (also for 3DS but I dont want to be mean here)

11. Scribblenauts Unlimited (same as above)

12. Batman Arkham City

13. Paper Mario

14. Castlevania Mirror of Fate

15. NINTENDOLAND (Yay!)

I left anything out that wasn't really shown and sizzle reels also didnt make the cut. Or else I would have included AC3, ME3, NG3 (so many 3's) for Wii U. But since you said conferences I included Nintendos 3DS conference, but I think Nintendo would beat Sony anyway. Let's how you weasel yourself out of this.

Edit: Just to make it clear. No Shows are no counts.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

I'm amazed they showed that many games, I barely remember Pikmin 3 and ZombiU. Anyways, if I added Sony's intro the Sony list would rise to around 50 or so but I show mercy eheheheh.

Around the Network

Sony's intros get better year after year

Last years was great too:

I was onlyyyy plaayinnggg, with you...

Nintendo out of the 3 hardwarers. But overall, definitely Ubisoft.

ok Lets get into this: By the way I forgot Epic Mickey 2 Power of Illusion for 3ds which was extensively shown at the 3ds pchttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eb0QQsEZIpM 6:00 minutes including gameplay and mechanics), so the score right now is 9 to 16.

Sony Sizzle Reel addet:

1. Tomb Raider
2. Dust? Some fps Vita
3. Sth looking like Mutant Blobbs Attack for Vita
4. Lost Planet 3
5. Hell Yeah or whatever its called
6. Resident Evil 6
7. Sly Cooper
8. MGS Rising I guess
9. Darksiders 2 (Only War was shown in close up, could easily be Darksiders 1)

Score: 9 + 9=18
There were also Sorcery, Starhawk inbetween, but they are already released on this Plattform so there is no point in counting them (But I guess you will see this differently)

Wii U sizzle Reel:

1. Darksiders 2
2. Tekken Tag 2
3. Aliens
4. Tank Tank Tank
Also represent, ME3, NG3 and Trine 2: DC. Although not released on Wii U yet and sporting new content or additions for the latter 2, I don't really want to set myself up for excuses from you, so I leave them out.

3DS sizzle reel
1. Scribblenauts Unlimited (This time its 3DS footage so it counts)
2. Kingdom Hearts DDD

16+6=22

Sony 18

Nintendo 22

Anything else you want to bring up? Maybe the bubbles on that giant Vita count they displayed as a background?

Edit: Just to make it clear, I don't think any of the big 3 won, Ubisoft was the only show that didn't lose, so they win by default.

I think it goes like this: Ubisoft >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sony=Nintendo>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Microsoft

Usher made Microsoft lose just that much more. Also the peroid in which I wanted to kill myself was longer at MS's PC (about an hour, everything between Forza and BlOps 2) than on Sonys (Wonderbook & GoW) and Nintendos (SiNG, Wii Fit U, NintendoLand) pc's.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

PC wins and it didn't even have to be there.

It's also worth noting that "content" isn't just videogames; much of Nintendo's presentation was discussing their new hardware too, and that's very clearly one of the biggest things people were watching for.
