So Nintendo conference just ended seconds ago. I did not like it. They showed some ports from current gen systems like Batman, Ninja Gaiden, AC3. New games like Pikmin 3, NSMBU and some Wii Fit kinda game?

NintendoLand looks a bit kiddy, it looks too happy like the Mii's. It reminds me of PlayStation Home, its basically a virtual themepark I think?

I expected: some  new strong IPs from Nintendo itself, along a new Star Fox, new Metroid, new F-Zero, specifications of WiiU shouldve bee nrevealed. We heard all kinds of rumours about the RAM, videocards etc. They shouldve shown social app integration in the OS. I do not like Nintendos own social feature Miiverse.

I felt like Reggie was talking all the time. It started so good with Pikmin 3, and then it went downhill fast...

What are your opinions?

Anyway, I agree with you. Started so well with Pikmin, then nothing else. Where Zelda? Where were hardcore games (even HD ports apart from Batman, Aliens and Darksiders)?

Not very good, unfortunately. I was hoping for something that made me want to buy the Wii U, and now, but it didn't come. Looks like we're heading for HD triplets, not twins.

Really, I wanted and expected more.

It did seem underwhelming and I only own nintendo consoles. I hate the name for New Super Mario Bros. U. Couldn't be a little more inventive? Well the software showcase is tomorrow so maybe we'll get more stuff then.

Honestly, Wii U is not a simple concept. Wii was. But we'll have to wait and see.

At least Sony and Microsoft had great games like Halo 4, Last of Us, God of War, Tomb Raider etc...

Next year will be all the huge 1st party I imagine - I was still very impressed by the show

It was solid, but no release date or price tag is surprising. Plus I expected another big Nintendo IP
