Because I'm a gameplay demo whore. After the E3 demo I am now a believer, 3eyond was just a cutscene...didn't do it for me. I need a gameplay before I can jump on the bandwagon.

...however, i would get the last of us if i had to only get one. i'm a pretty loyal person and i'll often make purchase decisions on "good faith". naughty dawg has built up an amazing amount of good faith with me now, quantic dream has some but not as much due to me only playing one of their games.

so in short, i'm pretty sure that 3oynd will be good but i'm absolutely fucking certain that the last of us will be amazing.

The Last of Us, because I love Naughty Dog's work on Uncharted. There is realism, then there's content I can relate to. ND does that for me.

YOU are so cruel making us choose between them both in a hypothetical situation. I would wait for both to drop to 30 bucks equaling to 60 sucks, which is one game.

Beyond looks better to me. I'm not buying either of them, but I just watched the Last of Us e3 trailer and I was quite disappointed with how the game looked/played.

I can at least get The Last Of Us type gameplay from other games on some level but stuff like Beyond is so rare in this industry. The whole concept about souls & what lies after death is a massive area of interest for me too which only increases my interest for it.

Beyond didn't interest me at all. I'm not sure why, it just seemed really "meh." The Last of Us gameplay, on the other hand, was the highlight of E3 for me. I have to see how it really plays, someone here said it looked scripted and I agree, but I'm pretty hyped from what I've seen.
