I don't get it...it looks really good but next-gen? Crysis 3 imo is (graphically) more impressive (the PC version) and it will be ported on 360/Ps3.

Yves Guilletmot (the Ubisoft boss) just confirmed on GT that it's for next gen by saying "it's for PS3, X360, PC and... we'll see. *smile*".

Geoff Keighley asked if this was similar to Assassin's Creed in that it's Ubisoft's next big IP going into a new generation of gaming and Yves said yes. I am so happy for that, that they're chosing an open world - a huge open world - game for that vision.

Oh, it might get ported to PS360 then, but I doubt it. This is definitely a next gen title (Xbox 720, PS4 and PC).

The Kotaku article clearly says the game its due for PS3/360 and PC and that was announced from Ubisoft.

Kotaku are likely mistaken. It's not like they ever got it wrong before! We'll see what happens tomorrow/this morning at Nintendo's showing.

Even then, well its Nintendo, and if you believe the same company thats gotten Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter and Kingdom Hearts, isn't going to try and poach this too, you're a fool.

I may be a fool but for the moment I'm going to trust Kotaku and not the hopes and dreams from some forum user.

Good thing I don't have to upgrade my graphic card or buy a new console to play this game, thanks Ubi.
