Wonderbook reminds me of Sorcery.
Looks cool when being demonstrated on stage... But will not be advertised and gets forgotten when it launches.

It was not that great especially for ps vita, but it was WAY BETTER than MS.
Come on, MS is just Kinect titles, multiplat games, and the same exclusive that got every year : fable, halo, gears, forza...
With Sony we got new ip : little big planet karting, TLOU, Beyond two souls, PASBR.
It's just that there used to unveil their games before E3, so we don't have the surprise.
Yeah, My main dissapointment was for the Vita. Assasin Creed was pretty much the only game they showed.
I was at least hoping for FF type 0, maybe because of most the games that matter for the Vita are probably japanese, they could be saving stuff for TGS. But Type 0 should have definitely of been shown, maybe its not get a western vita release after all.
In terms of PS3 they had good games on show, its just that they've all already been announced, they could of at least had a big 3rd Part reveal.
Compared to previous year's E3s, this has been pretty normal. E3 press conferences haven't been good for a long time. Having said that, Ubisoft's won E3 (so far) with their showing of games. Hell, it feels like they've half done Nintendo's job for them with some of the WiiU stuff.

The difference is that Sony actually showed off some exclusive games and didn't try to pimp their crappy search engine.
Microsoft's conference was a disaster, and you know it. Gears was good, Halo was excellent, and the rest was filler.
Sony could have done without Spellbook or whatever their strange Harry Potter game is, and with some more information on Last Guardian and Agent, but what was actually there was entertaining.
The last of us and god of war ascension. Nuff said. From what I saw they are the 2 best looking games this gen. I can't fucking wait. Beyond looked amazing as well. Vitas now looking a lot more healthy also. Assasins creed and call of duty in the holidays will be huge. Ps1 classics and YouTube were the main things people were complaining about, and it now has them.
Disappointed about not seeing Agent and the last guardian. Wonder book seems to have potential but it probably won't be pushed enough and marketed correctly. Also wished to see infamous 3. Was a lot better than microsofts however. Gamescom and Tokyo game show will show a lot more.

Sounds like they stupidly announced GoW: A and PASBR early then whilst they should have saved it for the big one.
Think I'll just watch a few trailers instead of the whole Sony conference. Way overhyped it was.

I am more balanced... I thought they were both poor. But nobody seems to want to answer the questions as to what the PS3 has for 2012? |
For 2012, PS3 has for sure PASBR, Sly Racoon thieves in time, little big planet karting
I don't understand why Sony didn't show some more Souls Sacrifice footage.

I'd argue they needed that though. This is one of the few times the mainstream media pays a decent amount of attention to the games industry other than talking about the odd mobile app or how bad violent games are. It was a boring (for us) but necessary marketing strategy to get out a potentially mainstream product in a currently niche market.
