Hello! I wanted to pop this question in before all the E3 insanity, so here goes. I decided to start a little video game console collection in order to play the classics on their original platform the way their devolpers intended. I'm picking up consoles like the SNES, PS1, Genesis, etc. Simply put, consoles from (I think) the 4th generation through the 6th. While browsing the internet in search of some good deals, I stumbled upon a PS1 going for 14 bucks. I jumped on it and ordered it right away. Since I'm a big MGS fan, the first game I purchased was MGS 1; however, I'm well aware there exists many classic titles that I don't know about for the system. Growing up a Nintendo fan meant playing the N64 and Cube classics. I missed out on all the old gems from Sony's first consoles, but that's exactly why I ordered the Playstation! So, any suggestions, guys?

i could write a full list, but it would take me a lot of time. If you are starting a ''collection'' or just want phenomenal games, right now sleepy how i am i can say Final Fantasy VII, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and ABSOLUTELY Xenogears. Please note that i'm not aware of the availability of any of these :( - Good Luck

Spyro 3, Tombi, Devils Deception, Red Alert, Alundra 2, Theme hospital and Digimon world. Theres some fun games I can think of on the top of my head.

Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX i dont think any other ps1 games even come close or are worth replaying compared to later games that are out.
