Original Article: Here we are just days away from E3 and excitement is in the air. Gamers everywhere are looking forward to the newest games and hardware to be announced at one of the biggest conventions around. Some announcements are made early as not to be overlooked by bigger announcements.

Some are leaked earlier than expected and are rumored about until the “official” announcement. One such leak was discovered via the SCEA Blog YouTube channel. The video has since been pulled but luckily we managed a screenshot.

Behold, the new Playstation 7.1 Surround Sound Elite Gaming Headset! (Above). You may be asking yourself, “What makes these so different from the last pair they released”? Well according to the video, this headset is compatible with your Vita and mobile device as well as your PS3 (and PC as the earlier pair were as well with the included dongle). This shiny headset also hides a microphone in it’s slick body with “crystal clear chat quality”.

They release this Fall for the modest price of $149.99, a $50 premium over the previous model but WELL worth it for the included features. Look forward to the “official” announcement this Monday at E3.

Will probably replace my current Wireless 7.1 Sony Headset

I already paid 99$ for their last headset and it still works great. I think I'll pass on this one.

I want one ! the fact that its compatible with just about every device i have is a major convenience...but again Sony fucks up with the price.
