Yeah I think Battleship deserved more love as well. I saw it last week (got to see it for free because MiB3 was sold out) and I couldn't understand why the critics thought it was so bad.

I am not going to say it was as fun as The Avengers, but I was on the edge of my seat quite a few times! The first 30 minutes were forgettable though.

Yeah Avengers was much better. But as a whole, I think Battleship was a very solid movie. And it certainly didn't deserve as bad of reviews as it was getting.

Did good domestically the first weekend but the overseas numbers should have been better. Already going up against Prometheus in a lot of market which I hope will win the box office next week over Madagascar 3 which opens in 700 more theaters but isn't nearly as good.

He also enjoyed Ghosts of Mars. I wouldn't ever rely on his opinion for anything. I will be watching it regardless of his opinion, positive or not.

I watched this movie. The movie was solid, but I wasn't overly impressed with it. It definitely wasn't a bad movie, but I wasn't able to fully appreciate everything it offered.
