Yeah I think Battleship deserved more love as well. I saw it last week (got to see it for free because MiB3 was sold out) and I couldn't understand why the critics thought it was so bad.

I am not going to say it was as fun as The Avengers, but I was on the edge of my seat quite a few times! The first 30 minutes were forgettable though.

Yeah Avengers was much better. But as a whole, I think Battleship was a very solid movie. And it certainly didn't deserve as bad of reviews as it was getting.
