smart glass definitely was the wii u tablet killer that was rumored. i mean, you can control netflix with it and stuff, microsoft wins, case closed, next-gen is a wrap before it even began...

It's like they didn't even show IE. It looked like a PDF doc and they spent the time saying you could pinch and zoom, which ever touchscreen does. How does it work without a touchscreen? What does an actual webpage look like?

Southpark did show gameplay, a little of it, but its been shown before at least in pictures.

Microsoft had a good opportunity to show some stuff off and they didn't. Even Smart Glass stumbled out and they made it seem rather unimportant.

Another C rating for Microsoft this year, even though Halo 4 looks amazing they can't take credit for other people's games and multiplats at that.

meh about 5 years or so I try to make people understand that here and on other VG website...... the showroom it's where it is at or behind close door demo if you have the luxury to get a pass..... otherwise the pressconf is a pre show marketing tool for B2B essentially.... if anything I was surprised by the lack of numbers and mktg analysis especially with windows 8 coming up and cross plat integration.....

more trailers of far away games would be a professional failure...... XB games is not even the main reason MS got in the game in the first place.... everybody new that from the day they announced the first XBox....

year after year it is almost a given that nintendo Should be the best conf in the eyes of gamers then Sony close and MS third.... because it is inherent to their business model respectively and their marketing strategy.... nintendo is a pure gaming company.... sony is a hardware company specialized in entertainement electronics of mid to high range and MS is a oftware and multimedia company which main business is to stay the leader in anything involving computing and computer chips in your daily life not here to talk to PROS about hypothetic game coming in 2015 they are not even publishing..... in that regard each press conf is right on target with what pros should expect from each of them.... IMHO

Personally, I like this trailer better than the one they showed at MS conference and I have faith this game will be good judging from Signal studios track record.

Mostly missed the conference, but it sounds like it was exclusives i already knew about.

Except for the nEw Forza whuch takes place in my state of Colorado. Got to watch videos on it to see if it really looks like this place. It truly is great mountain country that could have excellent tracks so my most hype comes here. Already knew I would eventually play the new Halo and new gears.

Better than last year, not by much though, but then again. Don't really expect them to improve unless they're dropping another slim or the next xbox announcement. H4 and AC3 will do for now.
