You should be ashamed to live in that country =P.

What does being sold out have to do with good sales?
It could mean:
-Not restocked
-Not very much stock in the first place
-One area has high PSP sales. (I know PSP is big in some colleges, though my school is straight up DS, even some of my professors have 'em)
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
PSP titles are undertracked heavil , It's incredibly unlikely a top PSP title would sell below 50 K units considering there's 30 Million wordwide that's not even 1% of the user base.

It's not bundled in Europe... it's only bundled in America. Same with Star Wars Battlefront. Again, you should really know this. |
NO ... thats not true , bot the Daxter and SW packs are released in the EU to , and aditionally we have the Simpsons and the Spider Man packs to . Also , the reason why numbers for Smackdown vs. Raw 08 are so high for the PSP is because in some countrys there is a bundle where you get that game and a nother one ( the second game seems to be different in every country ) .
Also , I wasnt complaining , but the fact that the PSPs EU software sales arent shown is a bit disturbing , mostly because most title sell 3x as much in the US ( Pursuit Force , GTA , Golden Compass , Smackdown , ratchet are just some examples ) .

And about the Shelves, the store were I was talking about had a week before a real shitload of PSP games, but when I came back a week later almost all platinium games were sold out. The 10 Daxter, Locoroco, Everybody's Golf, Pursuit Force and 20 Wipeout Pure, ... games were almost all gone, I only saw 1 Locoroco, Pursuit Force game and about 4 Everybody's Golf and Wipeout games. Of course this can be local, especially if you know that in Belgium Sony products are more popular then Nintendo and Microsoft products. :) |
Same here ... even though I live in Romania ( where pirated softwares have over 80% of sales ) Sony softwares are still selling , and bot here and in Hungary the Playstation brand is still the most powerfull . Yeah , NIntendo had some market penetration lately from what I can see , but not that much .
Usually people like just to slam it : ,, PSP is s**t in software sales " , because you can say the same about MS if you only look at Japan .
Oha , and my all time favorite argument about bad software slaes : if software is really so crap on the PSP , than why do most EA games sell batter on it than on the DS , an why do we still see 3rd party support for it ? ( CC , Dissidia , KH , MHF , MGS , Gundam , Star Ocean etc. ) .

That's because those games do sell, I guess those games are so holy for some people that they don't want to download.
I just hope that one day Sony will release a firmware that can be hacked
No matter what people say things will remain the same -- PSP software sells will say low -- because that's they are low. Nothing you guys say will change that.
I honestly have never seen any PSP games sold out, they always appear to be fully stocked in all the stores around here.
Its clear PSP software isnt correctly tracked.
Two points
1)When Bunkum gave us the total software sales by plattform the PSP software sales were way higher...with half the userbase, the PSP easier to pirate and a lot less games in the catalogue. The PSP sales fell to the floor when VGchartz changed the monthly NPD leaked data for the own tracking .Before that the ratio in NA for both handhelds was even..the PSP had even a slight advantage.
2)Anecdotal evidence. Here stores are well stcked of PSP games and they sell.In christmas theythe PSP shelves were ravaged with few games left.. that must be accounted somewhere.
A day isn't complete without Diomedes whining about the sites numbers. There should be a drinking game for this.
