I'll definitely give the demo a try later today, being one of my most anticipated Kinect games this year.
Just played it. Not sure what I think just yet. I did the turtorial and was like "Ok, this works and makes sense".
Then Mission One i forgot everything i learnt and was completely raped. So......i dunno lol

mission one already crazy there, enemys only need 2 shots to kill the player
well,from software game
I'll give my impressions of the demo.
So obviously I did the tutorial first. Sometimes trying to pick something like ammo type can take a couple of tries and everything feels kinda clustered together, but for the most part was pretty responsive controls. When I started the first mission I had already forgot the basic stuff, like having to turn on the Mech. I died two times before I got the controls down. Everyone is yelling at each other, there are no simple instructions on what to exactly do, and gets very frantic. Once I got everything down and knew what the hell I was do I was enjoying myself much more.
If you go into the demo and quite after dying once or twice, your going to hate this game. You really need to get a feel for the game, but once you get it and dig deeper, you'll have fun.
didn't play it yet but i know i will like it. i like to read that you forget some things very fast which means you need practice and there are not many games anymore where you need it. most games are so simple nowadays it's horrible.
and good that i didn't play the old game on the xbox with the great controller because i bleieve then, i would hate that it's for kinect now^^
Never played the original one.
The demo is quite remarkable, did forget some stuff I learned during the tutorial...
I don't know how it will work during a hectic combat, but it looks promising.
Pre-ordered it.
I don't think this game will sell that great. Not because it's bad, but because it is really the first true "hardcore" kinect title. This games only real hope of selling well is to try and push non-kinect owners on it with some good advertising. If MS was smart they would drop the price of Kinect to $99 around E3 time and advertise this game along with it, but there is a very slim chance of the later happening.
I saw footage of someone playing the demo, looks very impressive.
I'm really hoping the developers don't drop the ball on this one.

The videos I saw look more intense than I thought they'd be and the morale stuff doesn't look so cheesy when it's in context of the game. I may have to purchase kinect...
