Christians are a funny group. When you show them the insanities in the old testament, they say "oh, that all got thrown out with Jesus, that's why it doesn't apply" except, of course, the part about "them queers and homaseckchuls, god againt it"

These people are just hateful individuals using the bible to justify their bigotry.

hate speech. Maybe I should make some speech about how much I hate religion and pastors and call for there deaths...

I find that to be the primnary issue with the american right: a strict adherence to tradition regardless of sociological, economical, or technological advances.  they care more about tradition than progression.  

I've also found that the quirky thing about religion is that bad people use it to push their ignorant or barbaric beliefs, whereas good people use the good book to do good and be kind to other.  basically, since everyone's so uppity about a right to religion, people can do whatever they want as long as it's in the name of god, and they get to be protected for it.

And Atheists, e.g. Hitler. Not all hate of homosexuals is from religious people. 

True, there's also plenty of Atheists who "act" like this, just forgot to include them in my sentence :)

I do believe that Jesus Christ never taught something like this. So, in my book he's not a Christian.

Strange those people call themselves Christians. I don't Christ was that aggressive or violent.
