And Atheists, e.g. Hitler. Not all hate of homosexuals is from religious people. 

If you want to bring up brutal mass murdering atheists go for Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot. Hitler probably wasn't an atheist - his religious beliefs were ill defined at best.

 

In any case, religion is often used as a justification for extremism. Atheism is almost never used as a justification for extremism. I don't know of anybody who has ever killed in the name of there not being a god.


Yeah true, usually I would have mentioned Stalin or Mao, but since this thread was about homosexuality I figured Hitler was the best example since he sent gays to the concentration camps, but it wasn't religiously based...it was because gays weren't part of his master race. I know his religious beliefs (or lack thereof) aren't as clear but I'm pretty sure in Mein Kampf he talked bad about religions. I'm not sure if Stalin targeted gays or not.

i don't know where i said that,your comment has made me quite angry with your little wink like you know everything and you never mean't me personally quip,but i try very hard not to patronise one so young as i know your opnions will mature and grow as you develop and experience life

we do live in a world where people are free to break laws and make their own don't we,i'm not really sure what you are asking for,tell me what you are wanting,is it to lock everyone up who disagrees with you?
