it really was. Now if HappDolphin turns into EmoDolphin, I blame you NinPie...I BLAME YOU!

He already is! It wasn't even that bad!

What in the world could you really expect from something like this?! It isn't really a Conference anyway!

now you are just low balling it. They hyped this conference up did they not? We have so much things to share and haven't got the chance to talk about that we will have a seperate conference. Completely not needed, should have just released the demo videos with a dev diary style commentary and would have bee much better imho

and happyD, wasn't Emo yet...but he was on the verge...then you gave him hope dammit! Beware the next 1000 topics he makes now withing the next 24 hours! It's going to be a blood bath I say

So, games from this that I will definitely buy, no questions asked:

1. New Super Mario Bros. 2
2. Paper Mario: Sticking the Sticker Stickler Stacker
3. Luigi's Mansion
4. Castlevania
5. Epic Mickey
6. ....yeah I'll buy Transformers, shut up

That's what my list looks like.

Might add Kingdom Hearts but it's not top priority and considering all the 3DS games coming + WiiU I probably won't get it this year.

^ Because you always still hope for some greatness from the past.

Er, who are you talking to?

OT:

I want to get all these from this presentation:

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Castlevania, Kingdom Hearts, Scribblenauts, and Lego Batman 2.

@Darth. Ahahaha! I had the same mental image but with Nate, the bald guy and the Epic Mickey guy.

I gotta say it really troubles me seeing the amount of love 3DS gets from 3rd parties and especially Nintendo in comparison with the Wii.

Y U HATE Wii Nintendo?!

edit: the Warren Specter joke was funny tho

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

lets put it this way, if nintendo ended their conference with star fox, 3d Mario(you know they are working on it), and Smash bros cgi trailer(didn't even need gameplay) they would have won easily. Why didn't they? Well because...huh...idk, just wanted to show stuff coming this year?

I gotta say as someone who doesn't own a 3DS and therefor had zero expectations of the conference, it definitely made me want a 3DS more than I did before. Not saying I'll get one, but still, for a handheld that's been out barely 18 months this thing is quickly building up one heck of a library!

If I owned a 3DS I'd be hyped for Castlevania, Paper Mario and Flying in NSMB2!
Oh and Luigi's Mansion 2 of course!

Yah, I agree. Those were the highlights. KH looked decent too, but I'm not sure it's as good as the originals in the series. What do I know I never played them.

@M.U.G.E.N. That made me laugh

Because 3DS sales well in Japan, and will do much better (for third party).

That was alright. Once again focused solely on 2012, not sure why. It's as if first half of 2013 games aren't worthy of E3 presence. No new announcements as expected.

August can't come soon enough!

Indeed. Nintendo themselves called the 3DS Showcase, but since this was E3, many were hoping for a surprise or two. Can't really blame them, but it is what it is.

But seriously, 2012 has some amazing 3DS games coming our way. I will be purchasing the following:

  • New Super Mario Bros. 2
  • Pokemon Black/White 2
  • Luigi's Mansion 2
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - The Mirror of Fate
  • Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Illusion
  • Paper Mario: Sticker Star

And the next are maybes:

  • Heroes of Ruin
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited

That's an awesome 6 months of games.

@Khuutra

E3 is dead. Long live Nintendo Direct!

They really should add surprises to the ending

Only Ubi did it this year. The ending is important. If a single Metroid theme played in the ending, the internet would be all over this conference.

Nintendo does not care about E3. The other two big producers don't either. Okay?

Remember this for next year: E3 is about showing off games you already know about. The new announcements are for investors. They are not for us.

Big game reveals happen throughout the year now so that they can avoid being drowned out in the noise of E3, and so that publishers can control how that information is disseminated.

We get the same game information as ever, it's just not all at once. We have to stop having that expectation for E3, or we will never stop being disappointed.
