Have you fed a troll

No! Do I look stupid 7 20.00%

A little, then I ran 6 17.14%

Yes I did until he dook m... 5 14.29%

Hell yes, and I slayed it 17 48.57%

Total:35

I got sucked in on a troll at his finest. This one was good. He'd write down things I never said or twist things on stuff I did say. So much that I'd had to reply.

Now I am all for a good debate but you just can't with a troll. This is the charcacteristics of a troll.

  • Every single one of theirs opinion is fact.
  • If you have an opinion that conflicts with theirs then you are the stupidist person in the world.
  • They usually take your good opinions and twist your words eg Normal Person- "I think the software support on 'x' console will increase in the next few years" Troll - "You're so stupid, you think software will keep on increasing forever, DUH! you're so stupid DUH!"
  • They argue like a spoit, petulant child.
  • They become abusive after you try to engage into a proper debate with them.
  • If you ignore their last post, they will PM you.

If you see any of these signs, get out of there. Remember this. LOOK! READ! TROLL! RUN!

Are there any other characteristics I've missed? Let me know and I'll add it.

That makes you a Troll Troller. And we all know that 2 negatives make a positive. So you're forgiven.

I usually try to refrain, but if they're an unsuccessful troll shivering in the cold, I feel obligated to take them in sometimes.

Yes, I was in Iceland at the time, the poor thing looked hungry...

You are back! Time to get to work!

Point of clarification and fun factoid: trolls are not Tolkien creatures that live in caves or under bridges. They are individuals who much like the fisherman who must troll (drag baited line off the bottom) for suckers, use their own word barbed bait in an attempt to get unwitting suckers to bite.

Well you have to live on the edge once in a while. Or will the trolls track me down and gang rape me?

It's the moderators you have to fear.

I know what you meant. My humor failed :(

I've done one better... one time I fed TWO trolls at the same time who were going back and forth, and then just sat back and watched them fight over the scraps. Tons of entertainment for me, and I didn't have to worry about losing my dignity or self respect in the process.. .win-win all around.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
