the wonderful thing about freedom is that people (including businesses) can make choices and be autonomous.  Nintendo chose not to release a game and I'm sure they have chosen not to have other games on their systems to (porn games and so forth).  If you have a problem with them not wanting to offend religious people then you should choose not to support them.  Deal with it.

Unless blasphemous religious parody games become the CoD of the next generation, I really wouldn't put too much worry into this.

I think Nintendos biggest problem with the game was that it might make kids question their beliefs and they would get a lot of flack from religious groups in America.

This is not the first time Nintendo has had to deal with games being causing a religious stir due to the content.

Remember when Ocarina of Time caught flak from religious groups due to the Fire Temple chanting? This is not a substantial issue.
