Depends Spurge I tried Gran Turismo and Forza each entry. I also have played Need For Speed several times. If the opportunity arises I even try Madden and such. Though I absolutely hate sports and racing games with a passion. If I enjoy a racing game their are weapons and short cuts and strategies other then just driving. Sports games that are unique like say Mario sports titles are okay!

But no I won't go out of my way to try every highly reviewed game. But I definitely don't avoid any if I walk into EBGames and the game is in store I probably will give it a five minute try.

Baseball games. The sport itself is mind-numbingly boring unless you're playing yourself, so the thought of a baseball simulator makes me sleep. I literally yawned while typing this.

I have no desire to play Forza, either. Tried the demo. Thought it looked pretty and played okay. I just don't get the appeal of playing a game about driving a car. I drive a car every day and it's not that exciting. Unless that car can shoot turtle shells or cause crazy explosions like the cars in Burnout, I can't see myself buying it. It would be like buying a game about mowing lawns. It could be the most realistic lawn mower sim on the market but it's still based on something really boring.

THIS!  I'm not a graphics whore but goddam.  I'm sure "she has a great personality" but you gotta give me something to work with.  I have to look at her for goodness sake!!

Max Payne 3 because it just fails to capture that visual flair that I feel like Remedy has captured not just with the previous Max Payne games, but with Alan Wake as well and Kingdom of Amalur because it looks generic and void of any unique personality.

yeah you got a point, im old enough that i really cant be having people at my house anyway so having online is a good substitute for me at least, but i could see how that would turn people off.  I didnt mention RAGE as i have never played it or have no interest in playing it ever
