Rage. I've seen people play it and it's gotten great reviews, but I just don't like it.

Prof Layton series, just have too much already for the DS.

Mario Kart DS/7. These games look amazing, and actually I'm a huge Mario Kart fan. However I can't stand playing Mario Kart alone.

they both have multipkayer, even online

Yea, but online isn't the same as with friends in a room, and multi-DS....well I need multi DS's, and people can't yell at each other.

and why does Rage having MP matter? The single player looks uninspiring to me.

yeah you got a point, im old enough that i really cant be having people at my house anyway so having online is a good substitute for me at least, but i could see how that would turn people off.  I didnt mention RAGE as i have never played it or have no interest in playing it ever

So Layton has multiplayer then? You said both when I mentioned 3 games.

Yea, Mario Kart is my party game when people come over for drinking and stuff. Smash Bros is good too, but when you have girls over who have never played a game in their lives, it's a bit too hard for them. It's just something I play in the background, the only Mario Kart I sit down and play hardcore is MK64, but damn DS has really good level design and balancing, wish it was a console game.

i was referring to the 2 MK games, should have been more clear

My friends or not really big on MK or WIi for that  matter. so its strictly 360 PS3. Hell even my female friends dont really care for it. Im not playing games when their over anyway.

Okay, I take Metroid back, playing the Ambassador copy of Metroid Fusion has won me over :P

I can't stand the way Fez looks. It makes me dizzy watching videos of the world spinning and spinning... The graphics are a gimmick that doesn't look that good, and it seems like the gameplay isn't even that fun. I'll skip it.

Skyrim. And I bet many agree to that.

Definitely. I watched my brother play it, and it looked decent for a while, but the combat in comparison to Kingdoms of Amalur and Dragon's Dogma just looks sloppy and lazy.

I'll also add Twisted Metal (The newest one). I was ridiculously excited for it, until I watched it play for about 20 minutes.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Any racing game, MMO, Sports SIM, or Strategy RPG.
I use to play them in the past, but these types of games require a huge time investment that I don't have. I usually opt for games with shorter single player cinematic experiences, with a couple of single player RPGs mixed in each year.

Yea I don't play it much either, but when there are 5+ people over it's good to have Mario Kart on the tv instead of sports.

As for the guy laughing gif...do you not have female friends?

Im at a stage where its damn near impossible to get that much people over my crib to play games, school, work, family gets in the way.

Of course i have female friends, they just either dont like playing games period, wii or otherwise, or they or either one of those non casual gamers that will actually play the SFs, CODs, Tekkens etc.

the female post was to that other guy. I took his comment as he fools around with all women when thy come over, but you just don't do that.

As for Mario Kart, it's a different generation. I think you're older then me, I'm only 23, and most girls my age have at least played Mario Kart before, or have a slight interest to it. My gf loves playing new people in Mario Kart because she can win a race lol, so when she pushes people to play, it's easy to get new girls into gaming.
