Ah... that's the kind of scaling difficulty I really hate. Let me know if you notice any new attacks or strategies from regular enemies and particularly from bosses. I hope they at least put some thought into making difficulty levels mean more than stat numbers...

Ah, I went ahead and checked it out to see if there was any information online about difficulty differences and found this:

Have you been noticing these differences, or have they been so minor that you didn't even know they were there?

Well the non standard enemies get one mroe ability per difficulty, so in hell they have a few difficulties, and their escorts also kinda hurt. That's about it.

Elites in Inferno are supposed to have abilities specific to inferno too ( like grenadier which is an anti range ability).



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

I like the laser beams which are 25feet long and rotate 360deg in nightmare which arent in normal. And my friends say they hurt in hell so much that you die if you stay longer than 1sec in it.


Also the bees in act2 which spit poison now root you so that you have to use cooldowns in higher difficulties, or you will die very quick.


And there are many other small changes and abilities which makes it more interesting.


And enrage timer on inferno too :)



The arcane enchanted mod is probably one of the toughest in Hell if you're not careful. Even an Int character with pretty high resistances can get hit for 3-4K HP per second with those, it's pretty much insta-death .

It's always fun to fight Jailer/Arcane Enchanted/Mortar mobs

I believe I have seen that several times before inferno, the forcefield that slows down projectiles. I don't think there are new abilities, they jsut tack on more than one. It gets kinda of annoyign when you get a plagued, desecrating, arcane mob in hell as it is. It's not even hard, it's just a pain in the ass to move around and not apply DPS because you have to get out of all the crap.

I should send you a screenshot of my monk in Hell dealing with those mobs, 22k health and invulnerability really goes a long way in jsut not giving a shit about those things.

My Witch Doctor also doesn't give a fuck about them because of Spirit Walk, I can just kite them forever if I want to . Though Blizzard has already started nerfing some powers (like Demon Hunter's Smoke Screen having it's duration reduced to half), so I guess it won't be long before the OP powers of Monks and WDs get nerfed as well.
