Does Mario Kart Wii count as Mario franchise or as Wii franchise? Or both?

Anyways Mario should reach 400 million this gen and Wii franchise should become the 3rd biggest franchise. I'm expecting Pokemon numbers to climb a lot too.

Wii Sports 90 million
Wii Sports 2 60 million
Wii Fit 20 million
Wii Play 40 million
Wii Music 8 million
Wii Chess 2 million
Wii others (could be anything between 2 to 50 million depending on how big the titles are)

No, the only Wii Franchises are the ones you listed. It has to be Mii ONLY, not only included. This is my definition of it though, so that may change.

But if the defintion is that you play as a Mii, isn't then EA sports also in the franchise? Maybe it has to be made by Nintendo AND have Miis as main/only characters. What are your opinions?

I think half of MP3 sales are by casuals. Does that make it a casual game?

Either first or second best selling frnachise, I have no doubt about that. It just depends on whether they bring any more games out besides sports, play, fit, music and chess
