Dreadful sales for Vita. There is less and less hope with each week passing.

Persona 4 Golden is coming out in Japan, as Ryan said. Also, I believe the new Vita color (Crystal White) is coming out in June, although I don't think it comes out until the end of the month.

June will be a good month for Vita. Gundam and Persona, both will do good numbers. But it really needs some thing with a staying power! Those games will do great first week, but not so much the weeks after.

Yep! I wonder if/when it can hit 500k! And I wonder what caused the Wii/3DS to go up, but the Vita to go down. I know it's Golden Week, but is the situation for the Vita really THAT bad? What will happen when we get NSMB2 and DQX in Japan in August. Sony will likely dare to look...

The thing that boosted Vita last week was a game.

The thing that dropped Vita this week was no games. Especially since most Vita games released and announced (if not all) are spike games, those that shine one week, but not the next.



Yeah I'm aware of that, but I didn't expect it to drop this week, more to maintain its level... Also, I don't see anything for the Vita in the future that will boost above 20k...

Persona will, I fully expect a 30-40k week for Vita there (more in the low 30s). Seriously.

But if it can't even push to 20k units... yup, dreamcast will pass it, or at least be very very close!

There is no way this game could be any sicker than what I already posted...

 

What is wrong with this man... Is anybody interested in this? Is Japan interested in this kind of thing? Then again... it is Japan...

It seems that total handheld market will be way down this gen compared to last even in Japan. While those 3DS numbers are great they are still far cry from numbers DS did during golden week 2006. DS sold 180k and was actually down -35% from previous week because of supply constraints... Also Vita of course doing dreadful compared to PSP. (10k vs 40k)

Well, I agree, but let's not forget 3DS Lite is still not available! Imagine the impact 2D Mario + Remodel + Animal Crossing and freaking MH4 following next could have
