Forums - Nintendo - Monolith Soft's new Nintendo RPG screens

I googled and the first links I found concering this are dated 17-11-2007!! ( european format)
So no way this is what NP is meaning . Because they knew some online sites would know about it already.
Next to that there are already a lot of RPGs for the DS. So no need to hype such a thing.
Nah either they are playing with us or it's for the wii.

^well thats what im thinking this cant be what NP was talking about because DS already has alot of rpg's,i really hope they are talking about matsunos rpg for wii

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

Well I'm sure other screens are out there for this game too, it just must of slipped all our radars, NP won't of meant this, that being said lets not let that get in the way of what a great looking game this is, we're all Ninty fans here, we should be celebrating it Wii or not.

Matsuno showed his RPG for Wii and naturally it was impressive. Iwata wanted it to be fully realised in a game but they had no team to make it. Therefore Iwata started to look outside Nintendo for help.

They needed a development team that had experience with RPGs, and could produce graphics on par with the best in the genre such as Square Enix. Iwata then recalled Monolith working on Wii and that most of the Xenogears and Chrono Cross team were at that studio.

I am videogame fan even though I might look like a wii fan I am a bit yes. Because for my gfx fix I got my pc and dont need an other console ( maybe a ps3 in 2 years for gt5 or when sony goes broke and nintendo buys the license the wii 2 for gt6 :P )

So in other words

Nintendo Bought Monolith to secure Matsuno's RPG ?

That needs to be one hell of a game then to make a profit of it.

because : and buying monolith and developing = still means making a profit on the game.

Only good hope ( btw I notice I am getting more and more involved in this site with posting .It's not good. I been watching here for about 1 and half year now. Bleh, people how could you do this to me :D)

Huh? That had nothing to do with what you quoted? (to the post above the one above this)

I was hopeing Matsuno's new RPG was on the Wii :(.

 Consoles: Wii & PS3.

Well I hope Monolith's "Final Fantasy Killer" is for the Wii, because this DS game, although looks alright, is no FF Killer.
