Yes, I see that. I don't understand this:

"Obviously they haven't been doing a single thing with the PS3, they have one new 1st party game. Wow."

He asked if the reason that the Vita has such bad support could be that Sony is focusing on the PS3. I think no, they aren't doing anything for it, just one 1st party title that shouldn't be too hard to make because it isn't even by Sony themselves.

Oh, you didn't specify. Anyway, I don't think looking at games released since the Vita's launch is a good way to determine Sony's priorities. If you look at all of Sony's studios, almost all of them are working on one or two games for the PS3. I don't think it's true to say that Sony is not focusing on the PS3.

Oh! They are working on the PS3, no doubt about that! It just doesn't seem enough to warrant not focusing on their other console, too. Sony just has bad management. Nintendo is juggling three consoles. The Wii, (even though they don't have many games coming out for it) The 3DS, (Obviously preparing for a huge Holiday Season) and The Wii U, (Trying to make a really great launch + tunning it into perfection.) I think Sony can juggle at least two consoles.

@ Ninpie

Sony is not Nintendo. They do not have the 1st party power. You're giving them way too much credit.

In terms for published titles overall on the platform? Perhaps. In terms of the quality of support? No, not even close, the Wii should be a testament to that.

They can still manage more than one console at a time. If not they should drop out of the HandHeld business. They obviously did better with the PS2. (It may be because they only had to focus on one thing.)

"They can still manage more than one console at a time"

Obviously not, LOL. Not without tons of 3rd party support, at least.
