6 (1 number), 6 (1), 6 (1) = 3. Can't expect a 13 yo to know such an advanced level of maths

I meant what does 3 have to do with anything about Microsoft.

Hey!

They could but there are not enough noteworthy characters, similar to Sony's brawler.

I can't seem to think of a substantial amount either....

They could, but I would give it a little while. Right now Sony and Nintendo both of a generation or more over MS so their stable of IP's obviously out numbers MS's. Honestly, they could right now and it wouldn't be a bad list of characters to choose from.

Master Cheif
Arbitor
Sargent Johnson
Marcus Fenix
Skorge
Agent(crackdown)
Hero(Fable)
Alan Wake
Splosion Man & Mrs. Splosion Man
Commander Shepard
Conker
Banjo & Kazooie
Gunstringer
Perfect Dark
Killer Instinct
Blinx(time sweeper)
Vodoo Vince
Lost Odyssey

huh?

I'd hope it wasn't a direct SSB clone - having two of those come out within a short space of time would be awkward =P

In terms of roster - yep. They've actually possibly got a set of characters better suited to it than Sony does, partly thanks to Rare. Conker and Banjo are the perfect types of characters for this genre.

I think Rare still owns a few of the characters from DK 64, cause Nintendo only owned Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong

i think

Because the Ice Climbers and Pit were so noteworthy, Nintendo fans were constantly whipping out their NES consoles just to remember these classics over the last 10 years. And who could forget R.O.B, not me, Nintendo sure did though. Both Sony and Microsoft have more than enough noteworthy IPs that would work in this instance. The hilarious bias aimed towards Nintendo's IPs is nauseating. Next thing you know they'll add Balloon Fighter to Smash Bros Kerfuffle for the Wii U and everyone will pretend it was always iconic.

So to answer the question, yes they could and anyone who says otherwise is trolling.

Maybe they could have your avatar as a fighter and u can assign him moves and dress him up.That's be pretty cool

No they shouldn't.

They don't have enough recognized characters. Even using the well known N64 Rare game characters which could still hold weight with Ninty fans of old like Jet Force Gemini, Banjo & Kazooie, Killer Instinct, Battletoads, Conker, Perfect Dark arguably Microsoft have the best known old characters by default from buying Rare.

Man Microsoft have wasted Rare licenses. A really good team building new Blast Corps, Jet Force Gemini, Banjo Kazooie 3, Killer Instinct, Battletoads, Conker. Man decent teams working on sequels to these games would murder Sonys lineup. I mean these were amazing titles for N64 that really kept that Console flowing. Rare owned that era as best dev by far.

If M$ actually played cards right they have francises that were loved that could destroy Sony.

Im sure they could. More than enough characters and a history of copying, much like Sony.

elaborate

you wouldn't know because people dont care when a company copies unless its SONY

so here is a few

M$ copied PlayStation with its guide button. they took the Playstation home button and called it the Guide button

M$ used analog sticks which Nintendo did 1st

M$ made a camera which i believe the Dreamcast did 1st

stuff that ONLY Sony gets criticed for

huhh? am i stupid right now or was this microsofts idea?

yea i think you are just stupi.....

okay i want you to take a look at this picture

now i want you to ask yourself when the PSP released and when the 360 released

i also want you to ask yourself why you actually thought that the Home button was M$'s idea

maybe its because nobody cares when other compaies copy UNLESS ITS SONY!

;)

or maybe because i don't care if one company copies the other one? and because i don't really care about handhelds? ahhh too bad you couldn't think about this option, my..uh...your fault...

didn't know the psp has such a button and why i thought that this was microsofts idea? i didn't think it was their idea like "we were the first with the idea on a paper" because that's like with everything, anyone has this in his drawer since 1975 or so...but i thought they were the first to really implement it for a console/handheld from the big three.

or maybe because i dont care

this speaks volumes and is the point that i was saying when it comes to copying in this industry ESPECIALLY when the company is not Sony doing the copying :)

but whatever..

EDIT: oh and i added the bolded because ps3 fans dont search for that stuff. It is basically blasted in the media/reviews so it is hard not to know what Sony supposedly copied but its a different story when it comes to other companies. You didn't know that M$ copied Sony because nobody in the media talks about it for a fan like YOU to know about it

OMG.

Its a F**King button.

The length of development time that was between 360 and PSP shows noone copied anyone. Both ideas were on the table before either company saw the respective products.

Copying is PS1 with the controller, or Trophies for achievements. Or Brawl for Smash Bros.

Copying is when a company blatantly had no concesses to do it or include it but comes out with it after the world has already seen the other product.

Sixaxis would be another, or PS wands or Kinect.

These are copying not a friggin Home button on 2 systems that ad tose in the design 1 - 2 years before they came out.
