I'm having a hard time finding the link between Playstation and murder, here. Was there somebody present that witnessed this kid hold his father at gunpoint yelling, "It only does EVERYTHING!"? I read the article and it's not very detailed. A very irresponsible parent left a gun where a four year old could reach it. That's the problem. Even if he had purchased the kid a Playstation, the odds are pretty good that leaving a gun where the kid could reach it would end up with somebody being shot.

When I was a kid, anything that was shaped like a letter "L" was instantly an imaginary gun. The first thing I did with my imaginary gun would be to point it at something/somebody and shoot. This kid got his hands on his father's real gun. The end result was inevitable.

I think we can blame it on Playstation. If all he wanted was a Wii the kid would have more likely hit his father with a tennis racket or a ping pong paddle.

The major reason why that is so is because the NES was hitting the market when we were "starting off", and it was hard to get much better than the NES at the time.
