I don't care who wins. Just so long as it ISN'T the Miami Heat.

As strong as the Spurs have been lately, I'm thinking it will be a Bulls/Spurs Finals.

The spurs tend to have strong regular seasons and Tony parker and the entire spurs team have been playing great as of late, and they are the best scoring team in the league, but when pitted aganist a younger team (such as Memphis or OKC) they are exposed and I expect them to lose to either one of those teams come playoff time.

Ive been a lifelong Lakers fan, you have to roll with the winners.  Experience counts and no other team (maybe outside the Spurs and Boston) are battle test and ready when it comes to playoff basketball.  They will have their work cut out for them this year but with Bynum and Gasol playing decently well, Ramon Sessions doing ok and Kobe remaining clutch, I dont see how they can lose.  They have an extremely weak bench and thats my greatest fear.

Indeed. Grew up in SoCal and the Lakers are my favorite sports team. Now I live in Charlotte and I've got the Bobcats...

Seeing Bynum and Gasol step up during Kobe's absence gave me some faith in them (as Pau's lackluster play last year really hurt them during their playoff run). Ramon can actually keep up with the best point guards (Love ya Fish, but you weren't starting PG material). Heck, maybe Ron will even show up offensively when he gets back.

There's definitely some stars that need to align for the Lakers to win it all. But it's still a chance, especially with #24 on the court.

I half agree. Being a hardcore Bulls fan, I hope they win first and foremost. But it they get bounced, THEN anyone but the Heat.. Hell, I'll even take my second most hated team, the Knicks, thought that is not gonna happen for quite awhile.

I wonder if Kobe's going to try and go for the scoring title tonight or if he's gonna take it easy for the playoffs.

Anyone know how much he would need to score to beat Durant? Kobe's at 27.9 and Durant is at 28.0.

He needs to score 38, which I think seems unlikely because Brown probably won't let Kobe play too many minutes this game.

Yeah, I agree with ya. With the Lakers in control of the 3rd position, Brown isn't going to take any chances. Another scoring title for Durant.
