Semi-conference round has come to a close. Here the Heat clearly had a commanding lead in the poll in the East and in the West it was OKC with Spurs and lakers trailing. Lakers started to trail when it was pretty clear OKC would win the round. Bring on the Conference Finals!

Eastern Conference -Final Round:

Top Dog Under Dog G1 G2 G3 G4 G5 G6 G7 Series
2. Miami Heat 4. Boston Celtics 93-79

120-111 82-102 103-109 103-108
99-107

2-4

WOW! Conference Finals started off kinda bland with the top dogs taking the votes early, however OKC was still being shown some love.

NBA FINALS 2012

Top Dog Under Dog G1 G2 G3 G4 G5 G6 G7 Series
2. OKC Thunder 2. Miami Heat 105-94 96-100 85-91 98-104 106-121     1-4

Before Miami's game 3 win, very few people picked Miami to win and OKC in 5 or 6 was the clear poll choice. However, now with Miami up 2-1, pollsters are starting to pick Miami to win (still the underdog by a lot) in 5 or 6. As it came down to the end Miami votes increased a bit, but the greater majority still thought OKC was to win. Guess predictions were way off this season.

Congrats Miami and its fans!

I can't wait of for the playoffs to start.

This is the year Bulls begin their next set of three!

Bulls are simply the best full team out there this season.

Holy cow! I just clicked on sports topics to find a sports thread of mine and boom this was there out of the blue!

Go Bulls! Never thought I would say that after living in Washington state most of my life. Bulls were the yankees of Basketball. Everyone hated them. Now the Sonics are gone, and I live in Chicago.

Yeah I live in Seattle and it sucks our Sonics are gone :( What sucks even more is how successful they've become in OKC.

Anyways, I don't think the Bulls will win it this year. IMO even though they have a deep, disciplined team, they can't win without a healthy Rose. I dislike Miami so I hope they don't win, and I don't think OKC is developed enough to win it yet. The Lakers have no depth, so I think San Antonio will win it this year (even though I dislike them too). Then again, SA had the best record last year and lost to Memphis, so anything can happen...

GO BULLS! Bring on da Pacers, Heat, and anyone else who stands in our way! We are getting title #7!!!

Taking the fanboy cap off for a second though, I am a bit concerned about Rose's health. I just don't get it. He is freakin 23 and his body is like a 45 year old. I just hope this year is the exception and not the rule as far as his frequent injuries.. I'm also a bit concerned about the Heat, even with the home court advantage. We had it last year and it didn't seem to matter. I think the Bulls can take the Heat, but it will all depend on Rose's health. Also, Boozer NEEDS to play better than he did against them last year, and Rip needs to show at least some signs of the Rip of old..

All I can say, bring on the playoffs!

Updated with today's results. No change in playoff brackets yet.

I want the heat 2 won,but I live in the okc and would'nt mind the thunder getting the title.

Looks like brackets are pretty much solid at this point. Only #7/8 in east could swap and 4/5 in west. Granted, the 4/5 swap wouldn't really change anything in the long run.

I will update again on Friday when all games are finished and we're ready for the Playoffs to begin!

Let's go Lakers! ^_^

They shouldn't have too much of a problem with the Nuggets... although I'm almost hoping they don't beat them too quickly. They'll need Artest's defense when they face the Thunder in the second round.

I hope everyone's ready for Kobe's jaw.

Oh wow, Kobe's jaw has a ">twitter.

Lakers are the only team that matters
