Hell yes.

Microsoft better be right in their statement. new era for hollywood blockbuster gaming.

I have to say, I have a funny feeling 343 has made an amazing game here both visually and gameplay wise. What will Bungie think if 343 make the best Halo yet?

Bring on November.

Everything I've seen of it points to that not happening (CoDified multiplayer, attention on graphics, 343's track record compared to Bungie), but we'll see.

What exactly do you mean with CODified mp? Because it seems halo mp will still stay halo?

That's just what I've seen and heard around the net. By codified I mean implementing RPG elements (like CoD) into the MP.

Can you name me such elements?

Customize loudouts, your character; social service akin to Elite

LOL.... I don't know if you know this but:

- You could customize your char in halo before cod

- "social service akin to Elite" This exists already 4 and it's named Halo Waypoint...

- Loadouts in halo aren't the same like in cod ( you can't really choose your weapon but get a selection...)

So before you say something could you please look the things up? If one thing can be said that is that cod copied more from halo the last years than the way around...

Around the Network

Yeah there has been some speculation about the CODification but I think that a lot of it has been blown out of proportion. It's like people on Gaf hear one thing like "Spartan Points" and they turn it into Halo 4 is COD. Truth is, there isn't a lot known at this point. I wouldn't be surprised though if there are more COD like variants but that's just it, Halo 4 is gonna bring a crazy amount of playlists so I don't give a fuck. I want the jump height and movement from before Reach, which looks good in that Conan gif. Spartan Ops looks to be the cat's ass though and is probably gonna be the big hit imo. OH NOES THOUGH, IT SOUNDS LIKE SPEC OPS!!!!

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I did look it up...by reading the article. Are you saying the article is biased?

"Lots of interesting information then, hinting at a multiplayer mode that will hark back to classic Halo (hence the Battle rifle and fast-paced combat), while recognising industry-wide additions to the genre, such as character progression and social frameworks."

but this is unimportant because if you don't like it you can play a mode without all of that. so, if you wish, you get more of that and if you don't like it, you play another mode. i'm pretty sure they will handle it like i believe.
