I also need to get this game, for Wii though. As I no longer have a PS2.
I can't say how bad or good it is (for that obvious reason) but people really like it. Nice choice for getting a game!

Congrats on your purchase of a great game!
I'm not sure how anyone can say the PS2 version is better, though. The only differences are that the Wii version has sharper graphics and you can use the Wii-mote like a paintbrush :P
But regardless of the platform, it is a fantastic game. Enjoy!
As it should be, it should be only played on the PS2 since its the original and has the credits for the original developpers.
Its a great game, highly recommended, I finished it in 50 hours without doing any sidequests. Great story and soundtrack :)

Its one of my favorite games ever great everything to me. the ending is incredible and it does some pretty unique things I think you'll love it.
It's a great game, though I'm not sure how the PS2 version can be is better, the Wii one has widescreen and pointer controls + I saw this one comparison, the Wii version appeared to have more vibrant colors
Either way it's an awesome game, I liked it a lot and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes adventure games
EDIT: By the way, I'm a bit surprised you haven't played it yet being Soriku and all
| Soriku said: From what I heard the Wii version's missing credits + an epilogue, a loading screen minigame, and the brush works a little better with the PS2 supposedly. Not a huuuuge difference but eh. Also my Wii makes sounds when playing my games while my PS2 is silent so if possible I'd prefer playing without an annoying sound. A little cheaper too :P |
Game's amazing, one of the best games I have ever played in my life. With that said aesthetics on the PS2 are a bit better (There's a fancy bloom effect they used in the god realm that's just breath taking that's missing in the Wii version), not sure about the Wii-mote problems though. On another note I'm playing Okamiden on my DS and that's been just as good.

good game, but the unskipable gibberish talk (at first I thought it was kind of cute, but man there is soo much talking in that game that it really got to me) and loooong and frequent load times pissed me off quite a bit
