I'm a PS fanboy, not an Xbox fanboy!!! And for me the gap doesn't really matter anymore. It was different 2008 when the gap was much bigger, but a 2-3 millions gap doesn't make a big difference not matter who's "first".
If PS3 gets a price cut by summer, it will do it this year, if it doesn't get a price cut this year at all, it probably never will or only do it after next gen has arrived.
all sony needs to do is slim the PS3 right down in size this E3 with a nice pricee cut and 2 is in the bag this year

Funfact: The amount of money Microsoft made on the Xbox 360 doesn't change the fact that the PS3 is an awesome gaming console worth having for every gamer.
Congrats to Sony for pluging away at the gap and getting it to where it is now. And wow, I know this site has more PS3 supporters then 360 supporters, but the latter sure try to do a job of dismantling any negative talk towards MS.
This is a sales website for people wanting to discuss "sales". Love it or leave it! No PS3 supporter came in to derail the threads that the 4-5 360 fans made last christmas about catching up to PS3 in yearly sales. So why is it so hard for this people to stop whining and crying over this thread and posting links from predictions or opinions 5 years or more ago. Or better yet, the great response of "ohh ahh it doesn't matter, it doesn't mater the gen is over" Who cares if the gen is almost over, we are still tacking sales every week so therefore we can talk about it whenever we want. Seriously these forums are so sad these last few years.

Damage controlling, its really entertaining to see some people trying to degrade PS3s success lol. :) Only 4 months ago sales mattered to them again when 360 had a good holiday, now it doesnt matter, believe me when 360 (if its still able with WiiU launch) widens the gap a little back again next holiday they will make those threads again.
Ps3 deserves its sales lets give them respect for that, they throw so many games so many great tittles, great features and a great system, sure 360 is my place to go to play online and so but Ps3 exclusives make me happy to have a Ps3.
Ps3 is selling really well BUT if 360 drops price to 129.99 i think 360 will widen the gap once again on holidays BUT maybe there PS3 will be already ONLY 1M behind, maybe less.
Doesnt really matter anymore, Wii has ~100M and 3rd parties dont give damn about the Console.
