good it deserves it and now galaxy has won the most GOTY awards from the major sites/magazines

An over rated game, that deserves no GoTY awards, R&C was by far better, halo3, mass effect, bioshock, orange box, uncharted are all better games then SMG

 I don't think i was whining or bitching, i think its a good game, i just think the other titles are better.  This is my opinion, you have yours and IGN has theirs.  The same way gametrailers makes stupid awards and gives CoD4 best graphics of the year when the game looks like shit.

While I agree that Gametrailers should have given that to Crysis without question, at least everyone else presenting opinions on the subject at least owns or has given extensive playtime to the game in question.  Of course you can have your opinion, but when you say "Game A sucks and is overrated" when you haven't played said game in any quantifiable amount, presenting your opinion will lower the opinions others have of you.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

SMG deserves every award that it gets and more, because it re-invented an entire genre for the next generation. No other game this past year can boast that.

SMG is made of fun; it's like electronic heroin. Congrats!

I would have been very upset with IGN if it didn't get their GOTY...it's simply by far the best game of 2007, and the best game ever IMO.
