Whenever I need money I just Reeking Box peaceful village, usually I find a Bullion (M) carrying enemy or two. It's a small profit, but a profit nonetheless. Plus, I also sell excess weapons dropped from enemies since I have a lot of those. I'm sitting on 11K gold right now.

I see.

Last week I switched to summoning bonus teams whenever I wanted to grind supports (initially I had only superstrong bonus teams available). Getting Florina on the map is free and contains ten enemies in the range from level 3-5, no weapon/item drops whatsoever though. You also get 50 renown for completing a map instead of only 10.

The only summoning bonus team I saw was a super strong team myself that even now I can't even scratch. Didn't knew an easier one was available, probably going to switch to that from now on.

Soon as Path of Radiance is available, thats teh easiest one.

Lvl 1 Mist for the win.  You can start grinding her for renown basically as soon as wireless is available.

Nothing really worth it in the renown rewards though.  I think the only thing I like in it is the pair of boots.  The rest of them are super easy to achive.  I think you can get everything else from just summoning a spot pass guy and buying it off them.

When you go to wireless, click on bonus box and then bonus teams.  Look at whatever teams are available in your region and find whoever is lowest level and summon.

Such as I said above.  Path of Radiance has a lvl 1 cleric Mist.  The weakest you can get.

Be careful and double look before summoning.  Don't accidently summon a lvl 5 Wyvern Lord instead of a lvl 5 Wyvern Rider.  Big difference.

Just got done doing all of Chrom's supports.  Man a lot of saving in other files and then restarting.  Marry Marribele, rush to ch. 13 then go and recruit brady.  Have brady get his A support with Chrom and Lucina, then restart back at ch. 10 and have Chrom marry Sully instaed, ect.  Doing the same for each femlae he can marry.

Man that takes some effort.  Seems like it will take a while to get everyones supports.  I really wish once you saw a kids support once, it filled it in for everyone who it ends up being the exact same thing.

I'm really scared for my Avatar work invovled.  Avatar can marry EVERYONE of opposite sex including kids.  Going to be a very busy time doing all this marrying with Avatar.   It's not so bad getting S support and marrying someone, but then you have to recruit kid and get that up to A support.  Freaking A.  Many hours.  Does Nintendo have the whole how many hours you played "X" game on the 3DS, like it does for the Wii?  Be interseting to see how many hours I have in this game.  HEck be neat to see them release something showing how many hours on average a person played this game.

Not sure why you bothered with grinding Chrom's supports when playing through the game five times isn't a ridiculous number to begin with. And if you can handle about a dozen of playthroughs over the years of owning the game, then the avatar is the only character where you really have to grind marriages.

The 3DS has a playlog application in its main menu. It keeps track of games (3DS, DS, eShop, DSiWare), demos and applications. Basically everything.

If you grind a few guys to lvl 20 in their promoted class its easy enough to quickly beat lvl 10-13 in 15 minutes.  Then its just doing a dlc map over and over to raise support with children and siblings or parents.  Much quicker than having multiple more playthroughs.  I'm planning on this playthrough to be my final (male) avatar playthrough.  I am ending with the optimal marriages I feel, ect.  So Don't really feel like starting a male avatar over AGAIN when I will have a game with everyone optomized out as best as I feel

I actually haven't had any trouble marrying people off. Took me less than an hour and a half to pair up all my current characters, Arena Ferox is such a nice place to get fast skirmishes that almost always nets you a support level per pair.

I can pull of a skirmish in less than 4 minutes, get a support level for 4 pairs and repeat for profit.

See in Lunatic tho skirmishes after Chapter 4/5 are fully promoted units with all but 2/3 stats maxed. ;p

Interesting. The Fire Emblem set was the first one that was made available, one character at a time. I think a new one got unlocked about 24 hours after summoning the last one. There are ten characters per set, so it would take ten days to get all of them available.

However, last Thursday at the usual time when new eShop data was made available (and thus also the The Sacred Stones set), the Fire Emblem set got instantly completed on my game, so I got to choose who I wanted without waiting another few days. I expect the same thing to happen to the TSS set this Thursday. You should try to manually update your bonus box content, perhaps you will get instant access to all Fire Emblem characters too.

Truth be told, I hadn't checked the Bonus Box since I started the game, and yes, there's the Sacred Stone first team and the complete Fire Emblem team. The only team I had seen at first was Karel's team, a lvl 8 Swordmaster, which scared the bejeebus out of me

Sorry for the double post, but just a quick question:

Should I promote Lon'qu to Swordmaster first, so he learns Astra and then Reclass him to Thief -> Assassin path, or should I just go full Assassin straight on?

Astra is pretty lame (five hits that do half the normal damage, unless you are lucky and a critical hit gets added) while an assassin's skill kills instantly. If I planned to get both, I would certainly take the assassin path first.

Lon'qu has a high critical chance naturally and I've got a couple of Killing Edges to spare too. Plus, doesn't Assassin have a higher stat cap than Swordmaster too? That would make it a better ending class no?
