^Were those units who could also attack, as in they had a weapon? I believe I've seen Valkries without tomes before.

They were sages armed with tomes, so yes.

Fascinating! (as Miriel would say) In my 100+ hours of playing the game, I can't recall ever seeing the AI do that before. Howevers, I think I'm gonna make my streetpass team comprised entirely of Dark Fliers still. Works better with whole Zerg rush strategy I had in mind where the team utilizes that high mobility to swoop in and gang bang the opposition's weakest link. Most people seems to be going with Classic mode around here, so all that's needed is one kill to force a reset. Kind of a cheap strategy, but there's definitely worse out there and like all strategies it isn't full proof or without weaknesses, Plus my actual team is gonna be flying units only so I may aswell do this hehe.

Why do you like fliers so much?

@newwil7l:
Cause flying is awesomazing! Plus high mobility is a trait I'm fond of in general. It's why I like Sonic games and other platformers a bunch, using Karts with high handling in Mario Kart, using haste first thing in Final Fantasy games n if possible optimizing equipment to make characters as fast they can be, and so ons.

Not in Awakening unless you are confusing them for Dark Knights or a War Cleric/Monk.

^Whut? Troubadour -> Valkrie. Surely you gave good ol Maribelle a Master Seal. :P

I think heal takes priority if it's in critical health. It will also use healing item if it is the hurt unit.
Otherwise, they will attack if within reach.

They usually attack your unit if your unit cannot counter. i.e. attacking an archer.

But it also is not guaranteed, I've seen them choose otherwise. Probably has to do with attacking the weakest link taking priority. Archers are kind of tough to kill in 1 shot.

So...who did everyone get to marry Chrom?

I was Sumia, because it just seemed so obvious.

And here is the DLC:

EU only currently:

Outrealm Tales: The Golden Gaffe
There's been a theft in the barracks! Lissa's secret savings have been snatched by thieves, and Chrom has decided to pursue them.
Reward: Gold
Difficulty: 1 star, Price: €2.49/£2.29
Chrom faces his scariest foe yet--a legion of gold-carrying risen soldiers who are only interested in escaping the map from the south. The amount of gold flying around totals about 72,000G on average. That's enough to buy well over 25 Master Seals or Second Seals. Nice!
Enemy data
Battle map: New
Map theme: Winds across the Plains (Fire Emblem)
Battle theme: Strike (Fire Emblem)
Outrealm Tales: Harvest Scramble
An Outrealm town is brimming with excitement during the annual harvest festival… until the Risen arrive. Chrom and his team must take action to drive them out before they ruin the festival.
Reward: Conversations
Difficulty: 1 star, Price: €2.49/£2.29
This map features a lot of conversations between same-gendered characters, ranging from conversations about the festival to things more unexpected. This map is recommended for players who are fond of their characters and, because of the low difficulty level, is also ideal for players who have just started.
Enemy data
Battle map: New
Map theme: "We should turn in for the night."
Battle theme: Main Theme (Festival)
Note: This map features 18 event tiles instead of the usual 2.

Interestingly, they've mixed up the order of DLC release. Guess it makes sense to do all the one star ones first, though.
